ACSO Recruit Diary - Graduation day ! Lines of newly appointed Deputies from the Alderney County Sheriff's Office lined up ready to begin their graduation ceremony.

This is the first of many intakes of Deputies to graduate from the joint training Academy in Liberty City. These 30 Deputies will be serving the people of Alderney County.

Recruit Diary Day 1 - Sheriff's Office Orientation begins for our new recruits seen here lined up on their first official day within the department.

The Sheriffs office training facility opened up its doors this week to the first 30 Recruits, taken from all walks of life, traveling as far from Las Vegas to join the department. The recruits have been split down into squads of 10


This is the first intake of Deputies for the ACSO since the budget cuts 4 years ago. The ACSO is looking to recruit 100 new Deputies to serve the County of Alderney.

Life will begin to get very difficult for the new recruits for the next 25 weeks of department training , we will follow the recruits progress from start to finish.

Recruit Diary - Day 1 Orientation Training , Recruit Johnson seen here doing burpees under the direction of training Lt James for arriving an hour late to the academy . The recruit blamed LTA subway system for his delay but as can be seen here, Lt James was having none of it!

ACSO Recruit Diary - Week 4 , Defensive tactics training, The first time many of the recruits have taken part in any defensive tactics training under the direction of Sgt, Mclane.

The culmination of this modual will see Cadets have to perform 48 of 50 skill moves and holds to pass. Failing to pass the test will result in Cadets leaving the academy.

ACSO Week 6 , Recruit diary , Here we can see the culmination of the recruits defensive tactics training. Each recruit passed their defensive tactics test, both written and practical.

ACSO Week 8 , Recruit Diary. Firearms training. Here we can see Cadet smith under the instruction of Sgt Marks on the proficient use of the Glock 17.

Firearms safety training is key skill the cadets will have to grasp. Each cadet will undertake 6 skill shoots, all pass or fail. Should the cadet fail any of the shoot they will be allowed one resit, failing that they will leave the Academy.

Each Cadet is assigned a Firearms instructor on a one to one basis to make sure the cadet receives the best training they can. The weapons the cadets are using now will be their service weapon if they achieve the status of deputy.

In light of the recent news that the LSPD would be 're-dressing' their fleet - news came to us that an old cruiser, and, in fact, the last Crown Victoria in the Los Santos fleet was being retired in Vinewood district. 
 
Coincidentally enough, the unit number is '911.'
 
"The cruiser actually used to be assigned to the Vespucci district, but once they started to be outfitted with more SUVs for the beaches, we ended up getting their surplus fleet until the new fleet was going to be put in effect." Commander Simor Clifforis of the Vinewood District.
 
The cruiser is officially retired since this article, marking the end of a policing era in Los Santos. The notorious Crown Victoria will no longer be patrolling our streets - being replaced with the Dodge Charger and the Chevrolet Tahoe.

Pushbar could be incorrect sized.At the moment the car is at 263k Poly which is very much.I will try to get it down.But this will be defintely over 200k Polys

Redid the parts.

Made this to go along with my LSMPD pack, unfortunately it wasn't ready for release. I fixed it up today at the request of a few people, and it's now ready for release.

ABPDs Rural Patrol unit seen here for a photo for the department website. The unit is tasked with providing on and off road policing to areas of Alderney not accessible by car. The unit also works with local farmers to combat agricultural crime.

And there she was: an old '98 Vic, still with it's old rotator lightbar intact. She was quite a looker, and I bet if cars could talk she'd have some interesting stories to tell. But gone were her glory days of chasing perps and basking in the smell of fresh donuts in the morning. No, no... This old gal had been sentenced to run out the rest of her life behind a chain link fence, watching as the city grows and as time moves on without her. 
 
Sure, the Vic has seen its time, and I'm sure our local officers are enjoying the creature comforts and fuel efficiency the old Fords simply never had. But to me, there's just somethin' about the old Vic's that the new Chargers and Tahoes the city bought just don't have: character."

The city has recently suffered from serve thunder storms lately, an SAHP officer in full reflective rig,  stops a dump truck carrying sand without a trailer cover. The driver was cited for having an unsecured load. The driver also had to ring his company to bring out a replacement load cover before the truck was allowed to continue on its journey. 
 
Part of my SAHP/CHP Uniform overhaul that im working on.
