  1. even compatibility didnt work haha. hmm i tried to use the old lcpdfr 95rc2r2 and that works like a charm but i cannot enter 1.0b
  2. no boxes were checked and read-only was disabled plus running as administrator, but still DEP
  3. Hey guys, did a fresh install, but i am still having the exact same problem. nothing has changed. Anybody??
  4. i get a file not found on your links... if you are refering to the redist x64 then i downloaded all of which lcpdfr say you need to download. that shouldnt be missing
  5. i disabled DEP (got the verification after restarting the computer) but still the problem exist I am reattaching the log file provided by the diagnostics tool. I hope one can figure out why i get this message: [Log Check] ScriptHookDotNet.log doesn't find loader script [Log Check] ScriptHookDotNet.log doesn't start loader script [Log Check] 2014-03-24 21:44:30 - Initializing ScriptHookDotNet v1.7.1.7 BETA (on GTA IV version 1.0.7.0 with C++ Hook version 0.5.1) [Log Check] ScriptHook.log doesn't start SHDN thread [Log Check] ScriptHook.log doesn't start AdvancedHook thread [Log Check] Log start: Mon Mar 24 22:29:13 2014 My computer is set up the way the mod requires, atleast to my knowledge it is
  6. not sure, im on windows vista but anywhere i can check?
  7. tried xlive. nothing.. yea also me because i have been able to run lcpdfr smoothly up until the release of 1.0 really strange, and clearly a reinstall did not help the issue ***would be nice if the staff could give a heads up on the issue. would it be possible that the file is corrupt even from the lcpdfr website? im just spitting out theories***
  8. Hi did the install.. bad news, nothing has happened. i attached the log file from after installing lcpdfr but before launching the game
  9. haha really is :) but hey if you dont mind follow the thread, then i will put the log from the diagnostic when it completes the loooong haul :) hopefully we will see a miracle :) thanks so much for the help
  10. indeed many times. I just get the error *data execution prevention* nothing seems to help *** I also tried to disable the data execution protection, still nothing ***
  11. Did it help? when i zoom in, i get a clear view
  12. No mods besides lcpdfr. sorry about the screenshot, me playing in the garden ! HAHA
  13. Hi, I attached the log from the diagnostics tool. it says that the mod is installed correct :S But it is really strange, the minute I delete lcpdfr 1.0b the game starts normal and is playable. no crash, absolutely nothing :S haha
  14. Hello, I hope the community and staff can help me with this issue I am having. I re installed gta iv today because I got the lcpdfr.loader.loader error yesterday when trying to activate the mod. Okay so far so good, i re installed the game, opened the game, all worked fine, installed all the necessary redistributable x86 and what not :) trust me, i did all, as instructed. Installed lcpdfr 1.0b, tried to enter the game -- crash -- data execution prevention error. uninstalled lcpdfr, opened the game, all fine again, installed manually lcpdfr this time, -- crash -- data execution prevention error. Basically I have done pretty much all what I could find on the forum, nothing has worked for me so far. I do not have the lcpdfr.log i guess because I can not even enter the game with the mod. i have attached *AdvancedHookInit.log *ScriptHookDotNet.log (I failed to open ScriptHook.log because it says that it is being used by another process)
  15. not rude at all, that is alright. Thank you for your answer, I appreciate all feedback
