  1. Wow thanks everybody for download and enjoying the siren! Never expected it to hit 1500 downloads this quick.
  2. Do you have an integrated card to plug into? If you do and it still does that, then something is seriously wrong.
  3. There might be bad cops out there that ruin it for the good ones, but these cops did the right thing. Cops have to make split second decisions, they can't look at things in the future. People criticize cops way too much and act like they know everything 100% of the time and can prevent every single situation. They're human. How many times have you messed up yourself? A lot. Now try making those decisions in milliseconds. They had no way of knowing that was a pellet gun.
  4. yes. Double click resident.rpf to open it then drag the in the vehicles.aoc file from the folder that you extracted the siren to.
  5. Dodge Charger... That will be in the shop soon. My local town has a few and they're dumping them for Explorers because of reliability problems. They're not even a reliable civilian car in most cases, engine mounts like to break, electronics, ball joints, tie rods all have premature failure. They look nice but they're not good. There really isn't any good police vehicles, the Taurus is way too small inside so the only two decent options are explorers and tahoes.
  6. Make sure you're in edit mode and already double clicked on resident.RPF to fully open it. Also make sure the zip files are extracted into a folder together.
  7. GTA IV doesn't run good on anything but that laptop is weak all the way around, processor and video card are not good by any means. The i5s on laptops are only 2 cores. Desktop is cheaper, laptop is more convenient so take your pick. If you want a decent laptop for games (GTA games in general even) then you're probably going to want to spend at least $800.
  8. It's only for the Police Cruisers at the moment. I will see if I can zip it up with my siren pack eventually to see if it works with FiB and Stanier cars. If it goes over the limit then I won't be able to have it functioning on both.
  9. Thanks for the comments :)
  10. 32000hz 16bit mono 512kbps Lengths you're going to have to toy with them to find out, plus file size of the vehicles.awc file actually matters (I think around 15.5 or 15.6mb is the max so there isn't a whole lot of room for editing). Also siren files need to be MUCH louder than what they were in GTA IV for them to sound loud in GTA V.
  11. My first real shot at making a mini-film using GTA V. Let me know what you think! Here's the last mini-film I did on GTA IV as well:
  12. My game is REALLY screwed up. So I took out the scripthook files now it just comes up: ERR_GEN_INVALID. EDIT: NVM was stupid and accidentally deleted dinput8.dll :P
  13. Have any suggestions now that I'm assuming you've had time to try it? Haha.
  14. Here's a video tutorial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnclF303uHY
  15. Yeah I have no idea why my mic stopped working. Went to use it about 3 days ago and poof, nothing.
  16. yeah i did. My main mic died so unfortunately I'm stuck using my laptop one.
  17. had to remove the standalone sadly, file size got way too big. :. Hopefully there's a workaround eventually.
  18. Working on fixing it now. Weird how it wouldn't work with default... This siren making process on GTA V is definitely a trial and error situation, no question about it.
  19. Standalone one not working? Will check in a few minutes and fix if that's the case. I know for a fact the pack version was working.
  20. Sourced from here: http://www.code3pse.com/Code3/Resource_Library/#tab_3
    • 1,190 downloads
    • Version 1.0.0
Enjoy and remember to backup any files that you want to keep! Includes a standalone version to just replace the cruisers and a version that includes the mastercom for the cruisers + my just released siren pack.
  21. Kind of a bit of a project I'm working on. Let me know what you think.
  22. Thanks it worked well! Got the siren all done and will release tonight.

    • Version 1.1
This is a siren pack I created using multiple sirens as you can hear in the video. I will admit, it's not perfect and will be updated from time to time but replaces most in-game siren tones with decent ones. Feel free to comment with suggestions, etc. Make sure you backup any files that you wish to keep and not have overwritten. Enjoy!
