hey guys i want to install an enb mod for gta4 so i can play lcpdfr on it but the thing is i have no idea how to do it (im new to modding) can someone help me out please? its a mod made by gionight called: gionights best enb final, here is the read me file: Works only on 1.0.4 !!!!! ENB mod made BY Gionight. This set is meant to be played with DKT road texture (must have) and "AntialiasingQuality=1 Within "enbseries.ini" This pack also includes additional ENB version in "FXAA -- Without in ENB SuperSampling" folder to be played with FXAA, and without traditional in ENB SuperSampling . Here are two versions of the same set "The Main ENB by Gionight" is the main version you should install , in the case if you want to try second version with FXAA (Anti-Aliasing method) you need to install ENB files from "FXAA --- Without in ENB SuperSampling" folder to GTA4 main folder, and thats it . My ENB set like any other set out there has its own flows, you need to understand it. Put "Dsound.dll" and "xlive.dll" in the main gta4 folder to make cars, ENB, sound or any other mod to work Almost forgot in this ENB I have locked frames at 50 if you want to unlock them change "ForceDisplayRefreshRate=true"to false in "enbseries.ini", and if someone want to decrease or increase bloom change it in "enbeffect.fx" line "EBloomAmountAdditiveV1" for your liking . if you want to adjust colors you can do it in "enbeffect.fx" line "EColorSaturation=1.6;" you can find it at the very top if you gona play with in ENB AA (Supersampling) In commandline.txt write double figures of your minitor res, and write your monitor's native resolution in "enbseries.ini" You need to tone-down your ingame settings especially "View Distance", "Vehicle Density" , I suggest you to turn off completely "Shadow Density" slider and "Clip Capture" . Ensure that any screen monitoring software (I MEAN ON !!!SCREEN!!! MONITORING WHILE YOU ARE PLAYING) like Msi Afterburner or Evga Precision is disabled and launch the game with "LaunchGTAIV.exe" If you want to play Without Lens Flares, you need to replace your "enbbloom.fx" for the one which in "Without Lens Flare" folder. If you want to play with FXAA (Anti-Aliasing method) and Without in ENB SuperSampling, there is "FXAA -- Without in ENB SuperSampling" Folder, copy/past this ENB files to the main game folder I also suggest you to use DKT new road texture, here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?yffi90a9bzniw87 There is Timecyc without a Fog in "Without a Fog" folder, for those who want to play this game without Atmospheric Fog and Smog just replace it, and thats it If you want to add additional Sharpening, just put in your main game folder "effect.txt" file from "Effect.txt For Sharpening If Needed" folder. If you are going to install Camera mods just copy/past all files (except "READ-ME" Folder) from "Free Camera and First Person Mods" Folder to your main GTA 4 folder. if you want darker picture (darker shadows, lighting) you can just increase in "enbseries.ini" this parameter "AdaptationMin=0.5" make it 0.55 or 0.6 If you want to make night brighter increase this parameter "NightLightingIntensity=2.4" to 2.6 in "enbseries.ini" To turn on Ambient Occlusion press "Shift+F10" while in game. To turn on Motion Blur and Depth of Field you need to press "P" while in game or turn on "Definition" in graphic settings of the game. In my set I had used ENB 0.82 by biggest supporter and creater of this GREAT MODTool Boris Vorontsov, enbbloom.fx and enbeffect tweaked by gp65cj042 and DKT70 RainRender.xml , InjectFXXAA Beta9 from some dude :) IMPORTANT !!!!!!!!!

Is there a way to cycle between sirens ex: cycle from wail to yelp without holding down the g key? Because i can do that when choosing my car in the station but i cant do it after i chosen it

i dont think my graphics card is the problem im using a ati 5800 and a phenom 6 core processor and it says that i can handle the game on max settings

didnt work it just does the same thing again im in a car and after one call or so the whole desides to go transparent i cant figure out whats making this happen

ok thanks ill try that, could it also be els v6? i know its the newest version of the mod so do you think it could be a reason

yeah i use two cars that replace the ordinary police cars? do you think thats the reason?

what does that mean?

i just downgraded to lcpdfr 0.91 because sometimes in mid game the entire map just turns transparent and the i can see through the map but when i downgraded it still happened, does this happen to anyone else?
