  1. My honest opinion now that I've played PR and sat with it a bit... They have a lot of work left to do. It's for sure a cool.idea and I hope they are able to see it through and make it happen. But as it stands, it is in no way, "the new standard" for LSPDFR. Backup spawning from the front and making wild u turns in the road. Weird ped behavior. No way to tall passengers on traffic stops to get back in passenger seat. No automatically given flashlight like STP. I could go on, but I really don't want to just sit here and bash it. I get it, "it's early and in beta. Somit will get better." My beef here is that the creators and other modders have labeled this thing "the new standard" and it isnt yet. It's a new concept that's still being worked on. That's it. STP/UB is the standard. It works. Backup spawns as it should. Features work and even if basic, add enormous immersion to the game. And have for literally over a decade. Also, Beijojo was constantly in the threads, chats, and feeds. He was constantly collaborating with other modders. Maybe the devs pr PR do on discord, but here, not so much. So, that's a srandard in and of itself, too.
  2. Probably one of the best looking packs in the LSPDFR universe. The marked FPIS has been in my lineup since I started playing this game. 😆
  3. THIS!!! This is why I dont understand the all of the hype over PR. Seriously. It's a coolmidea and concept. But to take "over two years" to develop what is basically a buggy revamp of STP and immediately call it "the new standard" is crazy weird to me. Even as someone who has played with it installed. Then to your point, you release it after billing it "the new standard" and go MIA for MONTHS is salt in the wound. But the secondary insult here is all of the other new modders completely buying in and canceling compability with tried and true plug-ins like STP for the new kid with a cool haircut. Like wtf?! Not everyone wants to play the beta plugin right off the bat. Let ir develop. Let the devs prove they'll stand by it and support it before we give them rhe keys to the community.
  4. "Do donuts" may have been a bit hyperbole. What I meant was, they spawned and come.in from the front, then, they try and turn and (to your point) try and park behind me. But always block traffic and park crooked. Respectfully, I've been playing this game for years. With multiple builds based around STP/UB. Never really had an issue like that when it came to backup spawning in. So, I dont think it's my game. I think it's just the way PR is coded as it stands. I've noticed other comments here and personal friends having similar issues. It's just something that needs to be fixed. Now granted, I do know someone who was able to install an Ai traffic mod and it helped, but PR backup still turns around awkwardly when spawned in from rhe front a lot of the time.
  5. I really wish modders would stop with the "PR is the new standard." They are barely out of beta. And have a lot to do before they are the standard. Clear challengers, yes. However, I still have issues with traffic stop backup pulling up and causing chaos due to unrealistic driving. As one example of something that is still.in the works. Another would be that if you have a passenger on a traffic stop get out, you can'tdismiss them back to the passenger seat like you could in STP. You can only dismiss on foot. I could list a few others, but I'm not trying to bash the mod because I think eventually it WILL be the stnadard if they keep working at it. But to just give them the crown because they're the new kids on the block is a little comical. Especially with the work that still needs to be done to the mod. So, yes, it's a cool refresh of what Beijojo did 12 years ago. But it isn't there yet. And it's sad to see modders just jump ship on STP like their fawning over a new Instagram model that looked their way one time.

  7. I'm writing this as a comment from my phone because the site wouldn't let me do it as a review lol Firstly, it is evident the direction where this mod is trying to go. It's clear that this mod aims to be a major revamp to the LSPDFR universe. It's ambitious and I commend that. My only suggestion here is to focus in the core mechanics of what made STP and UB so important. For over a decade. What I mean is, (and I'm going to be honest here) when I call for backup, they shouldn't be doing donuts in the street to pull up on scene. I shouldn't have to "fast dispatch" 8/10. My buddy has the same issue. And we NEVER had that problem with UB. Unless in LS itself. And we all know how bad the Ai is in the city. Before you focus on features like "lean on my hood", get the basics down 100%. No matter how cool those other features may be. Because, again, STP and UB were the standards for as long as I can remember and those weren't problems that I remember having. I say that, because not only are people removing STP and other beijojo plug-ins to make the switch, but we also have to download MDT plug-ins and others to be able to mimic that same STP/Beijojo experience with PR. So, it'd be easier for people to stick with it if they didn't ga v e the frustrations of immersion killing backup responses. Again, I'm personally sticking it out and have made the switch because, well, I see the potential, respect the hustle, and am hoping you truly will not only replace STP/UB, but make LSPDFR 10x better than it already is. I (and I'm sure other long time LSPDFR fans) just REALLY would appreciate the basic mechanics being good to go without the bugs before you worry about all the other stuff.
