  8. It does sound like a wonderful idea, the only shortcoming would be you'd need a small police force, so opposite of what we normally see. Regardless, a full focused FDLC-style clan would work, just be ready to either find a person to script, convince Braveheart to release an updated version of the FDLC script, or putting lots of man hours into setting up scenarios for roleplaying purposes. Best of luck, and keep us posted on how it comes along!
  9. Having the same issue, and to expand on the detail the Devs will probably need. - With or without forced duty - Driver will not wait for officer to pull up behind them - If the officer is close enough and LCPDFR states to exit the vehicle, going as far as the markers to appear where the vehicle was, civilian will still drive off (Strangely you can still interact with the driver through the markers) - Seems the standard driving AI immediately takes over once the driver has turned off their engine while pulling over, having said civilian immediately turn their engine back on and leaving - Have dealt with a civilian driving in circles with their blinker on, having to initiate several traffic stops in tanget before they finally pull over, repeating the above issue or beginning a pursuit These issues are from a Steam version of GTA IV with 1.0.7.0, mods used are LCPDFR, ELS 7, and Spotlight
  10. So went to pull over a civilian, for whatever reason as normal, the driver will attempt to pull over, turn their engine off momentarily, then drive off, sometimes with the two spots on either side of where the car originally stopped to still appear letting myself continue with the traffic stop without the vehicle or driver physically there. So I pulled in front of the vehicle and cut them off, walked up to the vehicle in question, and it started a pursuit. Okay, so I drive after her, she crashes and I get her out of the vehicle but unable to start a pursuit for some reason. As I get her at gunpoint to arrest her, I'm unable to control myself. Then, pursuit is finally called in, driver walks away, and I hop into the vehicle, and the AI takes over using myself to do a pursuit with AI police chasing and crashing into me. Was forced to crash the game as I was unable to regain control. ...In retrospect I wish I was recording this.

  12. LCPDFR itself isn't requiring officers as it's not an actual clan, it's a community of like minded people who both use and support the mod LCPDFR and other mods that are used with it, however if you look under the 'Groups' section you'll find plenty of clans, departments, communities, etc. that are looking for officers, most who will train you in their procedures. Professionalism is mostly what you gauge, but there are some out there, though I cannot name any as it would break the LCPDFR ToS for the forums of clan advertisement. As for servers, it's nothing like MMO's or anything of that nature, it's mostly just start a game and throw out invites, or get an invite to an already started game, and go patrol. Again, this is covered in training for any group you join. Best of luck in your ventures and welcome to LCPDFR!
