Issue:
Whenever I call for an air ambulance using UB, or a unit attempts to rappel from a police helicopter when I'm wanted GTA crashes and says "failed zilb call" Not sure what may be causing it. If I request the UB air ambulance to land instead of rappel the game does not crash. Also while using a callout pack (I forgot which one) that tells me to rappel from the helicopter to get in the prison the game crashes with the same error before rapelling. RPH Log and images are attached. (The game crashes the second before they actually rappel)
Note: I had this issue before with RDE's SWAT units using UB (Failed zilb call), But I just deleted the RDE files in LSPDFR and it worked. Not sure whats causing the helicopter bug this time.
Status / Possible causes: Not solved. I think it could be something with a physics handling file, since the rope relies on physics, and the vehicle that is unable to spawn (Barracks) also has a tarp that uses cloth physics based on the wind and movement speed.
Update 1: Game also crashes when using the RDE UB config to call for US marshals.
Update 2: Attempted to increase rappel script (<PoolName>ropedata</PoolName>) In gameconfig to 84, got a much longer loading time so I thought something may have worked, turns out it didn't, since when testing the medical heli again it crashed when selecting rappel. I moved the failed zilb call error to the side and I was able to move around, open menus, but the guns wouldn't fire. The helicopter slowly drifted away and the game's memory slowly corrupted until it was unplayable.
Update 3: Updated USMS passenger count in UB from pax 3 to 2, ended up fixing USMS. Helicopter still leads to failed zilb.
Update 4: Made a backup & reset popcycle.dat, still didn't fix the helicopter issue.
Update 5: Looked thoroughly through RDE with 7zip, found some files that were not the correct file size, made a backup and replaced them with the RDE ones. Still lead to the same error.
Update 6: Made a backup of the mods folder and reinstalled RDE and RDE E&E didn't do anything to fix the issue.
Update 7: Found this file in data of update.rpf called "ropedata.xml" have no clue if that's the cause and also have no clue what to edit in this file if it is the cause.
Update 8: Replaced events.meta, didn't solve the crash
Update 9: Replaced scenarios.meta, vehiclelayouts.meta & vehiclemodelsets.meta but didn't solve the crash
Update 10: An RDE DLC pack "wov_expansion" was missing. Also I replaced clipsets, reinstalled ultimate backup too. Yet the error keeps happening.
Update 11: Renaming mods to _mods allows them to rappel down. I am not reinstalling my mods folder since this is a minor issue. But I still want to know what is causing it.
Update 12: Thought it may be the physics.task file (after deep diving into the E.R.O physics overhaul OIV I realized most files are from 2016, meaning it is out of date.) I opened both files and guess what! It was corrupted (OpenIV couldn't open it.) To ensure THIS was the issue I decided to use the base game physicstask.ymt to see if it would solve it. behaviours.xml was not corrupted so I did not bother with it. BUT I still got a crash. So I decided to replace the behaviours file too. Yet the game STILL crashed.
Update 13: Same error occurred when spawning a specific vehicle (Barracks). I was not using RDE's vehicles.meta so I decided to use it. Still didn't fix the crash.
Update 14: GTA Updated and now my LSPDFR doesn't work anymore.
Update 15: LSPDFR Works now but I still get the same error.
