ELS v7 not liking AI and player cars
Windows displays the generic "crash" popup, and the error is listed in the popup. Also states the program that caused the crash is GTAIV.exe Yup. At first I had a newer version of "dsound" in the root directory and the game wouldn't even get past the loading screen. After replacing it with an older version the game would properly load. "xlive.dll" is also in the root directory.

So... you release a model that has additional modifications to it already, but don't give the proper credits?

ELS v7 not liking AI and player cars
I've been tweaking the game and it's crashed at least a dozen times in the past two hours. The same error: "exception code c0000005"

Large Address Aware - a possible way to increase GTA IV stability
Bumping this thread, just found out about this. Works great on my system. I've noticed I can have more than a half dozen ELS cars active at once and I don't see much of a lag, compared to before.

ELS v7 not liking AI and player cars
Since I've been running the game with mods fairly well, I decided to try and add ELS cars to the AI police vehicles. Here's the problem I run into now... I can spawn a bunch of Police and Police2 vehicles, both ELS enabled, and the game will run fine. If spawn a bunch of my own player vehicles only, no ELS Police or Police2, it also runs fine. However, when I have both one of my vehicles and a Police vehicle spawned with lights on, the game crashes. Dunno what's causing it to crash.

TBOGT and ELS lighting
I have EVGA Precision running but even with it disabled I still have issues.

TBOGT and ELS lighting
Negative. I actually delete that copy and start over with a fresh "separate install" with the UVP. Takes all of about 5 minutes to do and I'm right back to modding the game again.

TBOGT and ELS lighting
1- Yes, I can play EFLC without any graphics mods 2- I have the original IV and EFLC stored on another drive, I've always used the Ultimate Vehicle Pack installer to make a separate copy of the game for LCPDFR. 3- Yes, I got the Complete Edition on Steam a few months back. 4- Too many. I have installed numerous ENB's for IV and they've all worked. Like I mentioned before, none of them work for TBOGT, even ones that say they're EFLC-specific.

TBOGT and ELS lighting
For that particular reply, that was for the CGE ENB. However, I can't get any ENB to work with TBOGT. Same thing happens... I walk outside and it crashes, every time.

TBOGT and ELS lighting
I can get TLAD to work with the ENB, on TBOGT as soon as I walk outside of the apartment, game crashes. I can't get anything to run properly on TBOGT. Did that. Still nothing.

TBOGT and ELS lighting
I wanted to try playing LCPDFR on TBOGT and since I cannot get any of the ENB's to work, I decided to try the Timecycle mod. While it does look good, I cannot get the lighting to look as good as say... Savior's ENB. All you see is the bare texture lighting up, no ambient lighting. I've tried swapping the timecycles and visualsettings files from my current IV setup (with Savior ENB) and nothing changes. Trying to do anything with EFLC is a pain in the ass. Any suggestions?

Sweet, every ENB I try to use with EFLC causes issues. I'll definitely have to check this one out.

Difference between Crown Vics
Wow, really? You do realize that all 4.6L Crown Vics came fuel-injected, right? There's no carburetor in a fuel-injected engine, genius.

BZ's "Works in Progress" thread
To the contrary, the DSF models are gigantic and unrealistic. The body dimensions are disproportional compared to the real-life CV. While I do like the fact that they're low poly, I do not like how they dwarf most of the vanilla civilian cars in the game. The Schaefft CVPI model better suits the environment of the game, despite it being high poly.

Unless you're going to actually give HELPFUL information, don't post. Please, do us all a favor. Posts like this just make you look like an ass, especially the comment about how driving a CV and being a "cop".

Difference between Crown Vics
The "rear end" isn't the rear of the car, it's the rear differential. Meaning, the rear diff has been rebuilt. Probably had some issues since it's an older model. Maybe he added 3.55's instead of the standard 3.27's, that would help a little with acceleration. The LX Sports are awesome. My only wish is that it came with the same heavy duty suspension as the PI's, the soft suspension on the civilian Vics makes the car a boat. Another thing to consider to coincide with what OL said... don't so much look at the overall mileage on the car, look to see the idling hours. For example, the CVPI's on my department have over 100,000 miles on them, but you're looking at possibly twice as much wear on the engine alone in idling. Some departments don't go by vehicle mileage, they go by hours. So if the car only has 50,000 miles, but has over 10,000 hours of engine use, they retire the vehicle.

Looks to me like it's a copy and past job from the CVPI. Here's the real FCPD Taurus:
