  1. Nowhere did I mention using their API. If you have a play/pause button on your keyboard, press it. Notice how Windows has the song title & author? Windows was also able to play/pause this music. Found this: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/uwp/api/windows.media.playback.mediaplayer The plugin could launch a UWP app that will handle the media, unless there is another API that doesn't use UWP.
  2. It could be done using the built in Windows media API or even just by simulating a key press of the media play/pause key. It would work with most media players, including Spotify and YouTube. No log-in needed. No MP3 downloading. This would be amazing. Just switch to the right radio station and get your own music.
