Thanks for the advice, I heard someone else say it who wasn't in the air force. I know alot of people dislike security forces work, but i wouldn't mind the long hours and frequent bodrum i've always wanted to join the air force and id much rather be doing that then some random admin job, plus i hear security forces trains a lot, and I think it would be a cool learning experience, Btw are you active, guard, or retired? What state? or are you abroad?

Haha yea it is. This only last about a week we go through levels 1-4 level 1 is for new explorers to learn all the basics of whats expected of them its usually 4 12 hour days of training at the end you earn your shoulder patches, Level 2 you go through 2 days of first aid and CPR at the end your CPR certified and earn the right to go on ride alongs. Level 3 which is what this video is, is a 7 day long course at the CHP academy and the days usually consist of 18 hours of PT,Drill, and classes at the end you earn a CHP explorer badge patch. Level 4 is like level 3 but is more intense and you get to drive and shoot at the end you earn a special nameplate. day to day functions are not like this, this is a 2 times a year occurrence we usually meet weekly do some drill and train for competitions, and on occasion we do traffic control at events and help at DUI checkpoints, and community service this program gets you extra points when it comes to joining the CHP in the future because about 50,000 people apply each application process and only about 200 are hired. Being a former explorer gets you to the top of the list plus veterans get extra points as well, and i plan to join the Air Force as SecFo

I think they have been doing fine without them thus far so why change it? I do think they should all be issued tasers atleased though.

The cop wasn't thinking straight the first thing he should have done was to have the guy step away from the vehicle as a police explorer i know that is an important point they try to teach us all the time. Second if a guy did go back to the car like in this case the cop should have went backwards to take cover behind his door and yelled for him to get away from the car until he could see the guy actually had a weapon. Like Pavelow said he was probably still on edge from a previous shooting therefore not operating at full mental capacity. As for possibly facing up to 20 years thats rediculous, there are gangbangers out on the street that rob and shoot people and get less time ive heard of murderers getting less time

I had an idea of a callout the other day. There is graffiti all over the city right? and in NYC graffiti is a very common call so what if you get a vandalism call and when you get there the person is in an alley or next to a piece of graffiti, and i dont know if the animation is in the game or not but in the intro of TLAD there is someone tagging, if not just them being next to a finished piece would be cool.
