I was just messing around with police chases at higher wanted levels and realised that I haven't actually seen any FBI chase me in months. I even uninstalled all of my mods and ran the game vanilla, but still no FBI spawned a 5 and 6 star wanted levels. I know it is relatively vague, but is there any way to fix this?

The Colt AR-15 or any AR-15 is your best bet. Most departments buy civilian versions of weapons as oppose to the M4s that the military use.

I found the same thing with Shogun 2. As I didn't have a clue about the culture I found it hard to get into.

Sorry for the very late reply but for Swat 3, you made need to spend some time getting it to work. The Swat 3 last resort website (http://swat3lastresort.info/) is fantastic for mods and is pretty much all that is left of the modding community for Swat 3 :( Honestly, I thought the Stetchkov syndicate was terrible and seemed to make the game more difficult as well as introducing bugs that weren't in Swat 4. I've only played the Stetchkov Syndicate once and I'm still happy with that fact. Only upside is the voice recognition mod. But anyway, back to Swat 3. You will need a video codec for it to work but other than that, it is as easy as installing as anything else. I found my copy in a charity shop for £2. Best £2 spent by anyone, ever. The game can't stand up graphically to anything but the gameplay is still better the Swat 4 :)

Damn shame really. To be honest I never really listened to the music as I was always in pursuit mode and the pursuit music would kick in. There's a few mods for the pc version to improve textures and add vehicles, but nothing "overhaulish"

Jurassic Park Operation Genesis, an HD remake of the 2005 NFS Most Wanted, The Fire Department series (by Monte Cristo, god I loved those games) and finally The Movies.

Swat 3 (I'm assuming you've played it) is about as good as it gets. The tactical fps scene has gone into hibernation other than Insurgency and Takedown Your Trousers Red Sabre.

If you have the option to get a PC then by all means please say yes :) It's not as hard as you probably think as it's literally plugging things into plugs... over and over again. But if you need a laptop, this will be far better than Alienware (obviously) for the price and is a good spec anyway. You don't need 12 GB ram either, if you're looking to save $£

12 sounds about right, as you're starting to mature, and if you do happen to shoot someone deliberately, you're criminally liable.

While the 870m 6gb would be a little overkill, it would obviously be better than the 860m. I'm guessing the 4 GB 860 should be fine and the computer in general is good. You should be fine running on medium to high. Unfortunately as you probably know, GTA IV is a terrible port and it will be sluggish on most systems, 4 GTX Titans or not. I would get the 4GB 860 and it should run. Snow mod is a little on the heavy side to run, but again, you should be fine. The main problem with a laptop though is overheating, and prepare for this. An ENB like icEnhancer would be asking for too much, as most higher end desktops can't always run it well. Bottom line is that it should be great with 4GB of graphics memory. I'm fine with 3 on my HD7950. Don't expect fps above 60, and most likely around 40, because ,as I said, GTA IV is an atrocious port. Hope that helps :) (Think about the weight too, 10 pounds or 4.4 kg)

Here in Britain it is very hard (as you probably know) to obtain a firearm, no matter your age. I can understand letting a child of 10 shoot a few rounds from a hunting rifle or a small pistol, but in this case its almost laughable. The Uzi is used by some paramilitary forces and it is hardly a weapon for any sort of training or in this case, letting a child fire it.

Why anybody under 16 should be anywhere near a gun, let alone an Uzi, is beyond me. Kids (including me) should not be trusted with firearms of any kind, and unfortunately for the girl in this incident, she's probably old enough to now remember this for the rest of her life.

SWAT 3! Just a HD remake would suffice, it was far better than 4 (except for the optiwand under doors). It was also far more moddable and I still play it most weekends.

Nope didn't work. I increased the fat cop file size 3 fold and still no change :(

Ok, I'll try making the file size bigger and get back with the results.

Just checked and the Fat cop files are actually smaller than the cop ones :S

Thank you for the almost instant response. I did mod the normal cops with the black uniform mod. Anything I can do? (I'll probably just add a load of random textures to the model files to bulk the cop up a bit)

I recently changed the fat cop model to that of a female officer ('?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>) and now the female officer is all that spawns :( For example, out on the street, the officers in cars and walking around will all be female. In the LCPDFR station the officers will stay as they are meant to, but I guess that is down to it spawning their models directly. I have not modified any files regarding peds and grouping (i.e; pedgrp.dat etc) but I have modified their voices and their entries in peds.ide. Thanks in advance and please let me know if you need more information :)

My favorites are Heat, End of Watch (a little too over the top), Flashpoint, SouthLAnd, Third Watch. But by far the best is L.A Confidential :)
