    The new era of LSPDFR is here. After two years of development, it's here. Policing Redefined is a LSPDFR plugin similar to popular plugins such as Stop The Ped, Ultimate Backup by Bejoijo, LSPDFR+, or Arrest-Manager by Albo1125. It aims to provide an even more feature-rich and immersive experience to your LSPDFR Patrol, advancing ped and traffic stops as well as adding additional vehicle stops and on-foot traffic stops. And that is just a small portion of what PR (Policing Redefined) has to offer! Installation: Extract the contents of the downloaded Policing Redefined v[VERSION].zip archive. Drag-and-drop the contents of the "GTAV MAIN DIRECTORY" folder into your GTA 5 root directory. Read the "Get Started" guide on our site After installing your Settings/ folder will be empty, which is normal! Go on duty at least once: PR will generate them then. If you don't already have them, download and install these Requirements: RageNativeUI Damage Tracker Framework: For Developers: If you are a developer, you can read about PR and it's APIs here. Features: Policing Redefined has a ton of features which all cannot be listed here. However here is a rundown of the biggest: Ped Interaction: Custom questioning menu, field sobriety tests, Front/Back cuffing, citations, and more. Inventory Management: Store and bag evidence, test substances, replenish ammo, and more. Backup: Call police, fire, and EMS with a full RTS style management menu to assign tasks to each unit. Disclaimer, Please Read. First, this will be completely incompatible with Stop The Ped, Ultimate Backup, and Compulite, it is recommended you remove them for the smoothest experience. Second! This is a BETA. This means that you may encounter bugs, crashes, weird behaviors, etc. The mod itself works as intended. Any major breakages (e.g. the mod crashing on load), are likely due to user error. PR has been rigorously tested for the past year by various testers and content creators, with no major issues that have yet to be patched.     Yes it has backup functionality like UltimateBackup & more too. PR can automatically convert UB xml configs for you so you shouldn't need to worry!

    As @Echooo & others already pointed out, we are already very close to releasing it to the public and are just doing some refining. Right now we will be contacting a few developers to ask if they want to implement PR support into their plugins. This is crucial because when PR releases a lot of plugins might need an update to add compatibility.

    There are some events that include such situations like the BrokenEquipment event. Im currently working on rewriting RA (would be released as V2.0.0) on the side so I will be improving most events. It might take a while though since I'm currently very busy. If you or someone else got more suggestions lmk so I can try including them! 😄

    It is so weird that it does not show any error before crashing. Did you reinstall your GTA? Also the newtonsoft error is coming from NARCOS, which is outdated afaik.

    my discord is "marcelwrld". It happened on a traffic stop? Thats odd...If there wasn't a traffic stop event happening then it might be a broken install of GTA 🤷🏻‍♂️

    Did you make any changes to your game before the crashes started? Apparently you are the only one reporting such crashes. And since nothing appears in your logs (according to auto readers), its unlikely that RA is the issue 🤷🏻‍♂️ If you could provide me an actual log file instead of relying on auto readers (which might not be accurate) it would be very helpful. This way I could also investigate why the events weren't happening anymore, something that auto readers cannot do. You can try reinstalling RA and see if it still happens.

    Did it cause your whole game to crash or only LSPDFR? Please attach a log next time or else I cannot investigate.

  20. Script to reload LSPDFR Plugins

    I wrote a C# lspdfr plugin that let's you load, unload and reload single LSPDFR plugins. This means you don't have to reload whole LSPDFR after you made some changes to your plugin; instead you just replace the old files with your newest build in plugins/LSPDFR folder as usual. The reason I am writing this forum post is to ask whether more devs/people would be interested in this script. This script is VERY experimental. I also wrote it within one day and I haven't tested it much yet, which means that it could cause issues and/or bugs that I am currently unaware of. Below you can see a demo of the script (the video files are too big for lcpdfr). 1. Works for Callout plugins 2. Aswell as for other plugins (The error can be ignored lol)

    It is not outdated, don't worry. That error that u both encountered is (afaik) rare and I will be fixing it in a future update. Are there other issues that I am not aware of? Is the plugin unplayable? Right now I am busy with two other big LSPDFR plugins (e.g. Policing Redefined). Sorry for the lack of updates! If you have further issues, let me know so I can assist you...

  24. LSPDFR Arrest Event

    The OnPedArrested event also seems to fire when a ped is arrested on a fake traffic stop. Is there a way to distinguish that arrest from a "real" arrest? Like an arrest (either done by the player or a backup cop) that was not the result of a fake traffic stop.

    Correction: There is another way by killing (Health = 0) the suspect, yielding and resurrecting the suspect. It is what STP and PR (will) use.
