If you use the backup menu to request a tow, you need to use the manager menu (ctrl+b) to assign it to a vehicle once it arrived. Alternatively you can use the general menu (ctrl+t), face a vehicle and hit request tow. Who tf said that the mod was abandoned? It's not, it's just being rewritten from the ground up to fix some issues that cannot be fixed by a simple patch. This takes some time because I am the only person doing it ^^

Mate,...: Your game is likely just unstable af anyways because most people do not have the issues that you complain about. I believe it's caused by peds randomly stopping to exist which is caused by bad plugins/scripts messing heavily with the game world (SHVDN scripts, or so called "gameplay fxes", ...). Those errors will be prevented better in the rewrite but it won't fix your broken game. It really seems like due to the amount of times you complain here and say that you are switching back to the old plugins you are just trying to pressure me into getting that rewrite out faster. I am the ONLY maintainer of this mod and I have a LIFE outside of this. This is literally a hobby I do on the side. Noone is stopping you from switching back to the other plugins. Go back and stop with this nonsense, thank you. I can assure you that I am working hard on getting the next big version out, I just don't have the resources to do it within a very short time.

The item you are finding is not marked as a firearm item then. Just because it says something with "gun" or "pistol" thats not enough for it to be a firearm, it doesnt work like that in PR. I dont understand your issue?

Its not PR thats causing a crash, thats an error resulting from a different issue. Based on the past it was caused by plugins that require STP and/or UB. If you remove all plugins that depend on those it should work.

LSPDFR arrest has to be used. And the issue you are experiencing is likely when the suspect gets stuck in an animation, right? Thats triggered when you and an officer try to arrest the suspect at likely the same time which is an LSPDFR bug

Mate, I am working on an MDT but I have a life outside of LSPDFR devving, this is a side-hobby. PR will never include an MDT itself, it will be a separate plugin

A quick message regarding PR's development state that I posted on our discord. This does NOT mean that PR is broken, because it is not. If you experience any game-breaking issues it is 99% likely that it is an issue on your end (incompatible plugins, broken scripts/install...). -- I just wanted to let y'all know that the reason for no updates are because I am rewriting it from the ground up. A lot of the PR codebase is already 2 years old and does not meet my standards anymore. Some bad design choices etc. make it difficult to fix bugs without creating new ones and add new features. The rewrite is necessary to make PR future-proof, maintainable and sustainable. Since PR has around 40k lines of code I think it's understandable that it's very time-consuming to rewrite. The good news with that is that once the rewrite is done, y'all can look forward to new features and hopefully a generally more stable plugin. Other developers will have access to new APIs to make them work even better with PR and overall improve your gameplay. Stay tuned! And thank you for the support, it's great to see that PR has grown a bit already.

On a traffic stop you also hit T when you are near the vehicle. To interact with backup peds you have two options: 1. Press Ctrl+B to bring up the manager menu for units, there you can select a unit to get access to the peds 2. Hold Ctrl+B while facing a backup ped until the bottom right bar is filled

Taze them, theres a chance they will surrender. In the current version its possible that they remain uncooperative even after surrendering to mimick how some real life suspects just wont cooperate with you leaving you no option but to arrest them (use LSPDFR takedown). Though that will be changed in a future update so surrendering actually makes them cooperative all the time because it can be annoying

No, I highly doubt it. You can just press the request button twice instead of once 😅 It would require a lot of extra handling

You need to understand that this is a one-man project. I'm doing this in my free time, I don't have time to check every report myself, especially because 70% of them are trash and/or wrong (e.g. user error). That's why I have some people to help me with it. After all it was just a misunderstanding, no bad intentions 😄

Tow trucks sometimes seem to spawn without the hook and noone knows why. Also, are you telling them to tow when requesting them via the dispatch (B) menu? PLEASE use the discord to report issues.
