cherryaerie's post in Ultimate Backup - Pursuit backup turning into buddies was marked as the answerUltimate Backup does this as a natural habit. When calling for backup in any form of callout, you will get a blue dot, or corresponding dot for the service, for each backup unit you call in, in this case blue for police. These units will also stay on scene until ordered to leave, for example by the enter key, or you leave a set radius of where the call ended.
These units will also teleport to you depending on where you are and certain criteria that needs to be met in order to "teleport". Unfortunately the only real way you can change this is by visiting the UltimateBackup.ini file in plugins/lspdfr and changing the spawn distance to a larger value. Otherwise because of how that works, there is really no way to prevent "teleportation" to my knowledge with that are you are moving at a set speed and what not.
In terms of becoming a police buddy in reference to your clip, that is just what the plugin calls them as you called for backup. Regardless if you are in a pursuit or not and dismiss a unit, they will always be referred to as "police buddy".
I've attached a Portuguese version out of habit in the spoiler below, because otherwise this gets extensive.

cherryaerie's post in LSPDFR Crashes randomly was marked as the answerI see no particular error in your log. Remove chill callouts and see if the game crashes again, as that was the last log of it attempting to create an event and is an outdated plugin.

cherryaerie's post in The textures of police cars disappear in the distance was marked as the answerTry installing this Increased Distance Draw Mod, or find your vehicles.meta file in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/gta5 and for each vehicle slot, or the slot you are having issues with, find lodDistances. Change these values to 500 and click save. You will need to do this for every model should you choose to use this.

cherryaerie's post in Exception code: 0xc0000005 (EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION) was marked as the answerRenaming the mods folder disables it and usually indicates a problem with the mod you have recently installed. If you are positive you have installed all the requirements in the correct locations, you can simply try and remove or move blueghostpack from the dlcpacks folder. If this works, something went wrong when you installed the mod, ensure everything is installed correctly, including the requirements he has listed for the mod. If not, this pack was not the issue, and you should undo any other changes you have made recently.

cherryaerie's post in Backup the wrong vehicle police was marked as the answerMake sure you are editing it in both pathways.
In lspdfr/data;
(regions.xml) Ensure <Zone>DAVIS</Zone> and <Zone>RANCHO</Zone> are under the LosSantosCounty region. (backup.xml) Ensure under the name "Los Santos County", agency "lssd" is defined for patrol unit. (You can interchange this for state patrol, swat, etc) (dutyselection.xml) Ensure your police vehicle (ex Sheriff2) has a agency reference of LSSD and has the vehicle name. <Description name="Sheriff Cruiser" fullName="Vapid Police Cruiser" agencyRef="lssd">sheriff</Description> In lspdfr/data/custom (if you have this from Jurisdictions+);
(agency_lssd.xml) Ensure your vehicles here have a spawn chance equaling to 100 (ex 80 and 20) and have the sheriff vehicles. In plugins/lspdfr/UltimateBackup;
(customregions.xml) Go to "CountyPatch" and on the zones, it contains DAVIS and RANCHO as the zones. Do this to both "CountyPatch" labels. (defaultregions.xml) Under the Los Santos County argument, ensure both sheriff vehicles are selected under the vehicles (spawn chances should also equal 100)
If that doesn't end up working, you can try switching your Jurisdictions+ map OR you can swap out whatever departments vehicles is patrolling that area, though that affects more than that area specifically.

cherryaerie's post in GTA V keeps crashing. was marked as the answerTry renaming your mods folder to _mods and try again. From there, launch the game without RPH. If that loads, launch the game with RPH. If neither of these work, verify the integrity of your game files through Steam. I am unsure of what you have tried otherwise. If the game loads with your mods folder renamed, there is an issue with a mod you have recently installed.

cherryaerie's post in LSPDFR Crashing during start up was marked as the answerAn XML file you modified or installed recently has an XML error, likely inputted incorrectly. If I had my guess, the file you are looking for is in lspdfr/data/custom/stations_sahp.xml. The particular error lies at line 28, position 1. Edit this file and look for any discrepancies along that line, and make adjustments accordingly. You sound like you are simply missing an argument, like <.

cherryaerie's post in What crashed my game? was marked as the answer"EMS Mod". Make sure this is installed correctly, along with its requirements. RPH cannot find a file that it was trying to load associated with this mod, likely a DLL file. If this does not work, simply remove "EMS Mod" as it may be outdated.

cherryaerie's post in What is the carvariation line for policeb? was marked as the answerI have attached one below, which can also be found in the carvariations.meta in the pathway mods\update\update.rpf\x64\data. cherryaerie's post in rage.ped invalid was marked as the answerThis looks like a random crash. Try forcing the callout again, "Peace Disturbance (Fighting)" via UnitedCallouts. If that doesn't work, simply disable the callout via the callouts ini file.
plugins\LSPDFR\UnitedCallouts (folder) PublicPeaceDisturbance = false Unfortunately, there is nothing else you can exactly do as a ped was simply deleted by the game that the callout was trying to use, unless you recently modified a ped in your OpenIV, which I doubt is the case.

cherryaerie's post in LSPDFR Crashing When Opening Compulite was marked as the answerThe issue lies with trying to load a model.
Rename your mods folder to _mods and see if the game will crash when loading compulite. If it still crashes, it likely has nothing to do with the mods folder. If you have dragged and dropped any files, particularly .meta files from a addon vehicle installation, building installation, or the such, make sure it is entered correctly. This goes for any files you installed to folder that modifies LSPDFR files. This would go along with renaming your mods folder, which is likely the issue. You may also be missing an entry, compare any files you modified to a base game file, and modify accordingly. Remove any mods you installed recently, such as vehicles or interiors, one by one and troubleshoot from there. Including police station interiors. Remove Compulite, though I personally doubt this is the case, as the issue lies with trying to load a model that it cannot load correctly as mentioned prior.

cherryaerie's post in GTA 5 and RPH crash on startup was marked as the answerYour issue lies with GTA V itself, though I am not exactly sure what causes this. Though here are a few things to try if that is the case;
Ensure your Graphics Card Drivers are updated. You could have outdated, missing, or corrupted drivers causing the game not to work. Hit WIN+R and type in devmgmt.msc, or simply search and open up "Device Manager". Find "Display Adapters" and find your graphics card. Right click and find "update driver" and open it. Search automatically for updates. Sometimes, Windows will not detect it, so it is recommended to install "Driver Easy" to see if there is anything windows is missing. Through there, they provide instructions on how to update your drivers manually which is a simple and easy process. Add your Grand Theft Auto V folder as an exception to your antivirus. A link to adding an exception via Windows Defender is attached below, though if you have a different one, search online for a tutorial. Also try adding the GTAV.exe to an exception if it does not work before moving on. Add an exception to Windows Defender Run Grand Theft Auto V as an administrator. Right click on the GTAV.exe and click run as administrator. Reinstall Grand Theft Auto V. -
cherryaerie's post in LSPDFR is crashing on startup after installing new vehicles and departments was marked as the answerThere is an XML file that you installed that is either incorrect or invalid in some way.
"Data at the root level is invalid". The particular issue likely lies in Grand Theft Auto V/lspdfr/data/custom/stations_sahp.xml (Line 28). Look over the file you installed, or the download location description to see if it is a known issue. I do not know particularly what it is, though look and see if there is anything out of the ordinary.

cherryaerie's post in LSPDFR is crashing when I start the Duty... was marked as the answerUpdate RageNativeUI. Also when launching RPH, hold in your left shift key to open the settings, change the "Plugin Threshold Timeout" to 60000, this is unrelated but good to have in the future to prevent issues.
----

cherryaerie's post in GTA V loads perfectly but after starting RPH, GTA crashes. was marked as the answerYour RagePluginHook.log is a text document, and may be titled "RagePluginHook". If you do cannot find this, please share screenshots of your main directory and I can try to highlight which file for you, if it is there.
Meanwhile, here are some other things you can try;
Run RPH as an administrator. (2 methods, both work the same) Click RPH and immediately hold left shift key to open the settings. At the bottom, click "restart with elevated privileges". Right click on RagePluginHook.exe and click "run as administrator". Add your Grand Theft Auto V folder and RagePluginHook.exe as an exception to your antivirus. Depending on which antivirus you use, this may be different. I have added instructions on Windows Defender, though it may vary depending on if you are using Windows 11 or Windows 10. Simply search the internet on how to do this for other antivirus software. Add an exception to Windows Defender -
cherryaerie's post in CTD even after updating my RPH and SHV and LSPDFR was marked as the answerRename your mods folder to _mods and see if it loads. If doing this loads, you have an issue with your mods folder (likely update.rpf, though its uncertain). Undo/uninstall any recent mods/changes you installed. If this does not solve it, verify the integrity of your game files.
