LSPDFR Crashing When Opening Compulite

Featured Replies

Hi everyone. So my GTA has been playing phenomenal the last few months. However, over the last three days or so my GTA has been running a little rougher. I have not had issues with crashes the way I have been in this last week. Today, I realized the reason for the crash it seems to me is Compulite. I tried submitting charges earlier today and it crashed. I opened my Compulite again later today and it crashed. I have always had Compulite and was wondering if anyone could help me figure this out. If anyone wants to know what mods I have installed in this past week please ask.

The issue lies with trying to load a model.

  1. Rename your mods folder to _mods and see if the game will crash when loading compulite. If it still crashes, it likely has nothing to do with the mods folder.
  2. If you have dragged and dropped any files, particularly .meta files from a addon vehicle installation, building installation, or the such, make sure it is entered correctly. This goes for any files you installed to folder that modifies LSPDFR files. This would go along with renaming your mods folder, which is likely the issue.
    • You may also be missing an entry, compare any files you modified to a base game file, and modify accordingly.
  3. Remove any mods you installed recently, such as vehicles or interiors, one by one and troubleshoot from there. Including police station interiors.
  4. Remove Compulite, though I personally doubt this is the case, as the issue lies with trying to load a model that it cannot load correctly as mentioned prior.
