Hello, I just tried it. The lights do look better, but unfortunately my vehicles lights still don’t have that “bloom” effect. look at the picture, the closer cars lights flare out on the sides, not sure what that effect is called. Thats what I’m trying to achieve.

I’ve been trying to get my emergency lights to have this “bloom” effect. I’ve tried several mods that change the visualsettings.dat including better radiance, radiance V, and better emergency lights. they only seem to affect environment lights like in the picture and other cars headlights, but not my lights. I’ve seen other people whose vehicle lights have that “bloom” effect, but no one will tell me how they did it. All I’m trying to do is have that “bloom/lens” effect on my vehicle. Does anyone know how to achieve this? Please and thank you!

Hello, couldn’t find anything on this, sorry if posted before. I'm trying to use Grammar Police. When I press the button to talk to dispatch, I hear the radio static for a second and then it stops/wont stay “pressed” even though I keep the button pressed. So basically when I press and hold the button, it won’t stay held in game. Does anyone know what might be causing this? Conflicts? I’m using: Stop the Ped Compulite Ultimate Backup SimpleCallouts Prowler Radar Lidar Gun

Update: after hours of testing, making new vehicle.rpf files, making brand new dlc.rpf files, and no luck. I installed a brand new random els vehicle addon, and even that doesn’t work. So I don’t think it’s my rpf. The only thing I can think of that is different, is this morning I installed an update for my nvidia driver, could that somehow have messed it up? I even tried installing els again and nothing. Please help!

I’ve been building an addon pack for a while now slowly adding vehicles to it, about 40 now. Recently I discovered something in OpenIV called defragment to clean up rpf file. I did it to my addon pack, and now all my ELS doesn’t work. I hear the siren, but the extras for the lights do not work. So my question is, does anyone have experience with this? Is my pack ruined forever and I have to start over from scratch? Is there a way to save it? Any help greatly appreciated, thanks!

Hello, I’m using an Xbox controller, my blackout mode won’t activate by pressing A. I’ve tried it a bunch of times, never works. Also, with ELS, I can no longer manually turn on my headlights. They only come on automatically at night, and then I can’t turn them off. Maybe tied to the blackout mode problem? Any help greatly appreciated, thanks! p.s. didn’t wanna start another thread, but another minor problem I’ve been having, whenever I load the lspdfr plugin, it always crashes on first boot, then if I load it a second time it works. Every time, anybody know anything about that? Thanks!

Yeah maybe, I haven’t looked through the metas thoroughly yet. Instead I’ve been using ELS vehicles and that’s working, so I’ll stick with that for now 🙂

Thanks for the quick response, the problem I’m having is with fivem vehicles, if I install with openiv, the lights and sirens don’t work. Installing with LML the lights and sirens work, but it’s very laggy. Yes I’m running the game on a ssd.

Hello, I started playing lspdfr late, only about a month now. I’ve been trying to install fivem ready vehicles into single player, but the lights/sirens didn’t work. After searching around the forum, I found out about LML. Used it to install the fivem vehicles and the lights/sirens worked great! But, my game became super laggy! Almost unplayable. So my question is, how does LML load the vehicles that the sirens and lights work? And is it possible to have LML load them, and then not have to use it? Or is there another way to get the sirens/lights to work by modifying the metas? Or are fivem vehicles made differently in the ytf files? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
