How to make vehicle lights have “bloom”?

Featured Replies

I’ve been trying to get my emergency lights to have this “bloom” effect. I’ve tried several mods that change the visualsettings.dat including better radiance, radiance V, and better emergency lights.

they only seem to affect environment lights like in the picture and other cars headlights, but not my lights.

I’ve seen other people whose vehicle lights have that “bloom” effect, but no one will tell me how they did it.

All I’m trying to do is have that “bloom/lens” effect on my vehicle. Does anyone know how to achieve this? Please and thank you!

Brighter Emergency Lights by MSTB Developments

I've used this lighting since I began modding lspdfr and have never changed to another. there are three different "boom" intensities you can choose from also so you can pick.

The picture I attached is an example of what mine looks like with it and it is extremely bright at night

I have upgraded the visuals since this screenshot, but you get the general picture of what the lights look like with that mod installed.

Hello, I just tried it. The lights do look better, but unfortunately my vehicles lights still don’t have that “bloom” effect.

look at the picture, the closer cars lights flare out on the sides, not sure what that effect is called.

Thats what I’m trying to achieve.
