  1. Still better than anything dodge can produce.
  2. Both the ELS Models you linked will work fine! Trying to do some Anne Arundel county work, but IDK what year impala they have. Thanks for the help! One of them is definitely going in!
  3. Hay guys, looking for a Halogen only lightbar on an impala so I can finish a project. (unless I am using the halogen only term completely wrong, basically an Impala with this CVPI's lightbar http://gtapolicemods.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=361 ) Couldn't find anything searching around here, any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Mike
  4. Can anyone help me Identify the vehicle BayAreaBuggs uses in this video at the end? (20:00) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_kUUBrLKyw I love the 2 in one lightbar/traffic advisor (I know it has 2 rows of LED's, but still looks awesome!) If you can find this car or one with similar lighting and can give me a name or link it would be much appreciated! Thanks!
  5. Yes! Love my Colorado skins and vehicles! Thanks for this, an awesome surprise to see!
  6. I would've gone with the impala 2 years ago. Now the the ford P.I. is Taurus based, the things look amazing. I've gotten the chance to do ridealongs with the CVPI, Taurus interceptor, Impala, and charger. IRL and in game the Taurus interceptor takes the cake. Awesome curves and bad ass look. I understand some people love the cvpi because, especially in game, it is the image of police presence now and has been since the AWEFUL caprices. IRL I sweat a bit more if a CVPI pulls behind me then an impala or Taurus. That's why I think a lot of people go with the CVPI. The jaguar lights scream "I AM POLICE" lol I would go with the impala behind the Taurus interceptor. The impala has similar curves and the same look to it... I despise dodges with a passion that burns deep within my soul. The things feel blocky and awkward to me.
  7. I recently stumbled upon a Ft Worth skin on the site, I love the work but the skin hasn't fit any CVPI I've tried to put it on. If anyone can ID the vehicle the uploader included in his pictures, it would be a huge help! Thanks in advance!
  8. That did it! I guess GTA needs administrator priv. to accept the file. Thanks for the help!
  9. Trying to add +livery to the end of the vehicle lines, but whenever I do it, and try to save, a save as window pops up, and it will not let me replace the existing file "access is denied" Any help? Thanks in advance.

  11. Is there anyway to switch from the police_1 skin to the police_2 skin in game? I have simple trainer but havn't seen anything that would let me do that. P.S. of course I know how to switch out and skin a vehicle using spark IV, I was just wondering if I put 2 different skins into 2 different 'signs' whether or not I could switch between them. Any help is appreciated!
  12. Finally! Thank you so much! A Denver PD version would make my day, but for now this definitely gets the job done!
  13. I've been a member of my local explorer post for several months now. I can give you a general feel of the entry process. You will turn in your paperwork, often at a meeting so you can get a feel for what the weekly functions are like. They will schedule things like oral boards and, in my departments case, polygraphs. If you are clear through all of these stages you can start attending regular meetings. We hold bi-weekly meetings, one physical training, and one scenario training/orientation. Most posts only hold 1 meeting per week. I was issued my uniform within weeks of being accepted to the post. Expect, however, to pay for things like handcuffs, boots, flashlight, gloves, and OC spray. (make sure you ask what you can carry, some departments are more restrictive then others) Shortly after I was admitted, I had to go through an academy to acquaint myself with functions necessary to participate in community service as well as key lessons and introductions to law enforcement tactics, culture, and practices. The academy was multi departmental and gave me the opportunity to meet with fellow explorers in other regions of the state. Part of the academy was firearms training. We had a couple range days as well as in class training. There is no certification process, as ALL explorer posts will forbid you from carrying almost anything that is a liability (My department allowing us to get away with OC spray, and most will let you carry a pocket knife) Radio's are carried often. You will be trained on how to use them for things like ride alongs and community service/crowd control projects. Just don't hit the orange button! lol Good luck brother! If you are as passionate in a career in law enforcement as I am I know the academy and the post will be an awesome experience!
  14. Raw muscle memory. I'm sure if the cop could take a second and look at the situation he could use a less lethal alternative. But he didn't have a second because a dog was running at him. If you want to look at a situation were the cops are completely in the wrong, look up what my neighborhood cops up here in Commerce City CO (Commerce City PD) did to a pit bull about a month ago.
  15. Cool, Thanks for the help!
  16. I was wondering about the spotlight, its lit up in the video. Is this a separate feature or is it part of the model?
  17. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SeW4MlAt4Q This is a bayareabuggs vid. The first car he uses (police1 slot) looks awesome but I cant ID it. If anyone could tell me (or even better, link it) it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
