So, the Lieutenant Investigator at my SO just got a Saturn Aura as a takehome car, outfitted with an undercover light setup. After driving it, it really does make for a cool police cruiser. I was wondering if anyone had made, or maybe was planning (pretty please!) to make a Saturn Aura police model.

My explorer post is looking to replace the MDC software we are using on our laptops for note taking. Before I start going to the shady side of the internet, I was wondering what any law enforcement, heck even civilian members use on their MDC's. Cost isn't an issue. The department is going to cover it, however, the cheaper the better. It has to work offline. We use our MDC's to take notes and compile watch reports, not to access a police database. That would be very illegal and pretty unnecessary.

End of watch and Training Day set the bar for good cop movies. Which represent the work honestly while adding in action and making it watchable. I'm afraid this doesn't reflect anything police honestly at all. From the preview it looks like they planned out all the action, then said "Oh s***, we need a story line for this" It may be worth a watch. The action looked alright. I'm about invested with the story line as I was for the 'need for speed' titles.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I always park my cruiser edged out as well. The best I've been able to do is get up to the mitigation zone (http://www.forcescience.org/trafficstop2.html) and take a wide look inside the car, but as it appears, there is no tell even when doing this. The best improvement I can think of for the next LCPDFR update would be the option to do a passenger side approach (Maybe you could hit a hot key, and the circle just moves to the other side of the car, as well as your direction talking is reversed) that would be the safest, most realistic approach to traffic stops. I saw end of watch opening night with one of my good friends, a patrol sergeant at a mountain town police department, and we both cried like little girls.

I just got shot :( I do appreciate the realism LCPDFR offers, especially when 'routine' traffic stops happen to turn into shootings. However, I was wondering if there were any 'tells' or clues to when someone was reaching around for their ID, or something worse... My ridealong experience has given me the fortune/misfortune to see some squirley in car behavior, and I was wondering if LCPDFR has any of this, or if these shootings are completely random. Hay everyone. With my last summer of police exploring coming up before I apply to cadet agencies; I've decided my first ever release should be a police explorer skin. The skin is going to be dedicated to, and themed for, all explorers across the U.S. NOT for a specific department. The classic Learning for Life logo is going to be on them, and I will fit a badge somewhere. If any one has comments or suggestions, please fire away. I am interested in how many of my fellow LCPDFR's are also fellow explorers.

I think I might be the only one to call them black and whites. Out of game it depends on the paint scheme (riding with Silverthorne they are still black and whites, the ACSO CVPI's have earned the name "TBL's" *thin blue lines* while the chargers are brickmobiles)

Which ones. MDC or logging software? Like I said, Premier MDC is on our MDC's, but I think you can do a trial of crimestar on your pc. On my phone I run iPATROL, but I needed a police ID and proof of address for an account... iCrimeFighter is a good tool for taking down notes, but it was $5 last time I checked.

I have the game back up. It was a conflict of one .dll in the root folder that needed to be deleted. If anyone could tell me how to PROPERLY install countryside mountains, I have the game backed up, so please private message me. Thanks.

Recently I tried to install Countryside mountains, which I can pretty much guarantee I screwed up. Long story short, after a complete wipe and reinstall of the game, it's just refusing to boot up. By booting up I mean get past those pictures of the characters with the god awful music. Has anyone ran into this problem before? Any fixes? I'm running the game on the same settings that worked 5 days ago.

My explorer post issues us MDC's that don't have internet. During ridealongs, we enter information and reports into an MDC software (for us its premier mdc) but cant pull police records from it, its all for use in our watch reports we do after ridealongs. I assume you want to log information, in which case your phones notepad will suffice. There are a couple apps on android and iphone devices that can access statewide databases, but you will need a police ID and proof of address to create an account on them. I'm a little more concerned with what you would be using an MDC app for. If you are on a neighborhood watch, anything out of place should be written down, or the authorities should be called. There really isn't an appropriate middle ground for self policing these neighborhoods. If you have to call the police, its much better to be a good witness then for them to think you are a borderline impersonator.

Came home from school today, and along comes DPD new taurus interceptor. With a shiney new lightbar on top. If anyone could help me ID the lightbar Denver PD uses on their crown vics and police interceptors, I would be greatful. Any vehicle for gta iv you guys could find with it would be heaven sent :) I've attached pictures of the front and back of a crown vic. I know its a wheelen, not sure what model and if I could find it in game. Thanks in advance! Mike

All the cars in the ELS.INI must have ELS turned ON. Make sure your SNTrainer is disabled. Make sure you have no key mapping conflicts with H,J,KL,O,I,U. Ctrl + M seems to work for me as well as alt + m

SO MUCH CLUTTER! Anyway I always post mine with the real vehicles of skin packs im working on. Right now I'm wrapping up a Glendale PD skin pack, and so, Glendale CVPI tells me to finish up. lol.

cj24's Police Interceptor has me gawking and it hasn't even been released yet. So far it's gotta be Bxbugs 2011 Taurus Interceptor slicktop, and EVI's GMC Yukon. As far as fantasy goes, I love cj24's corvette, and enjoy taking out a mustang every now and then.

Hay everyone. I was wondering if I could get any help changing the light colors on EVI's GSP Tahoe. The model is spectacular, however I need red and blue lights on it. Unfortunately looking around the texture part of the file, I couldn't find the ELS images to edit. Model link: I've attached the only ELS looking image in the file. No idea what corresponds to where. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

I've ran into a lot of problems playing campaign with mods installed in the game. Unfortunately, the only fix I can offer is to uninstall every mod, play up to where you want to be in the campaign, and re install them all.
