Hello , ( the moderators in here are top notch 👍🏽) good job with the quick responses guys lol

You said : The only exception to this is if the model is not available anywhere and you have permission from the author to upload it.
    👇👇

But thats exactly what i mean though. Ive done this before in the past . Normally what i do is I speak to the author about purchasing a vehicle that has not yet been uploaded to LCPDFR nor anywhere else. So that once i buy it , i can upload into the "model" category with my livery attached to it. In simpler terms , i BUY the vehicle model that has never been uploaded, you can say i buy the permission as well if you wanna look at it that way. Sometimes i even pay for them to CREATE one for me from scratch and once i upload it I make sure to give the creator(s)/author their credits under the "credits" section. It may sound crazy but im basically willing to pay good money in exchange for a vehicle AND authors permission to upload. I do it all just so my own personal livery creation gets the exposure i want it to get . We all been in this community for years so I think we can all agree when I say that vehicle livery category gets WAYYY less exposure than vehicle models section. Which is why I never had an issue paying someone what they ask for when it comes to selling me their work.

So when you said you've never seen someone who sells vehicle models allow someone to reupload their paid model for free , its never free lol . I dont just pay for the model, its almost like im paying for the permission to re-upload as well. As long as i mention them in the credits the creators/authors dont mind. Except i dont expect you guys to know that part because payment process and negotiations all happen in DMs or behind the scenes ( Discord etc ) So i understand where youre coming from too.

I just want to point out that someone from the LCPDFR team recently mentioned PR in this chat. But then, another team member reminded us that talking about PR is totally off-limits because it’s seen as "rude" to make comparisons. Still, it was PR that claimed to be better than everything else, which really stirred the pot. It seems like PR gets a free pass to call itself the best just because it’s the new kid on the block. I’m interested in trying PR out someday, but if we can’t discuss it openly, I don’t think that’s the right approach. To sum it up, PR is an exciting release since it brings a lot of features that, notoriously, may I add, STP never made public in its Paetron versions from many years ago, but saying we can’t compare the two feels like a recipe for disaster. No chance to discuss them openly means no feedback for PR, which basically means we can’t figure out how to improve PR beyond just saying STP or LSPDFR+ is better. That’s not enough to make me want to hit download. If PR can let us explore this question ourselves without pressuring us to download PR before we can form our own opinions, then I would happily support PR.

Flacko809 reacted to Cyan in Hey guys what will GTA 6s LCPDfr be called?
We will probably have an internal scripthook/way of using the script engine within a few hours/days of release - as was the case with GTA V.

After we have a way of modifying the game, work can then start on the mod. The First Response series is a complex modification, so probably months after the release. Maybe we will have a tech demo for our Insiders before that.

For GTA V, the first public release of LSPDFR was just a little over two months later. I doubt that will be the case this time, as I think we generally have less free time now than what we had back then. But who knows.

It's likely LSPDFR will enter maintenance mode and receive less updates, just like LCPDFR. Although it really depends on how "alive" the GTA V modding scene remains after GTA VI is released.
It's our intention that there will be a new version of the First Response series for GTA6. As for plans, considering there's not even a release date for GTA6 PC, it's hard for there to be anything solid on our side at the moment.

Thanks for the transparency. Your reply actually cleared it up unlike Will who was condescending and made excuse after excuse. He needs re-training in his responses.

I'll reach out the the dev and see if thats what he wants to prosue.

Yes, of course. @Back12 please report these messages to us using the reporting tool. That will allow all of our moderation staff to easily access the private message thread, along with full message histories and edit metadata to take appropriate action.

In regards to leaks, if someone on the site is using assets without permission then this isn't allowed per our File Guidelines. Please encourage the author of the asset to report this to us via our reporting tools or if this is not possible to get in touch via e-mail (management at lcpdfr dot com) with evidence.

In this particular case, most of it comes down either: it happened off site (the original post) or it wasn't reported to us.
If it happened on DIscord, you may want to reach out to Discord Trust & Safety. If it happened here, report this to us using our reporting tools.
I'm sorry you feel that people on the site are "protected" in some way. I'll be genuinely honest and express that simply isn't the case - you can chose to believe this or not. The reality is we refuse submissions all the time due to incorrect credits, permissions issues and most of my outgoing messages are following up on reports or other file concerns. If we cared about nothing but clicks we wouldn't put half of this effort in.

We've built process and systems to prevent fly-by leaking, multiple accounts and all sorts of other community nuisance behaviour. Maybe we should talk about these systems a little more as it would show the effort that we do go through in protecting the community and assets of those who don't even upload here.

Flacko809 reacted to unitedOrange66 in call outs coming in too quick
    Hello,

How often you will receive a callout is depends on the value in Callouts.Multiplier. The default value is 250.

Go to your lspdfr folder, open lspdfr.ini, find "Callouts.Multiplier" Decrease the number to decrease the chance of callouts coming in, such as 150 or 100; increase the number to increase the chance of callouts coming in,such as 350 or 450.
