My game keep crashing even without RPH
Hello again, sorry for the late reply, been busy with assisting in the aftermath of things, I appreciate your understanding. If If the issue is persisting even after all the steps taken, if you have a Scripts Folder, please rename it to _scripts along with renaming your Mods folder to _mods again and see if that changes anything, if not, the best thing I could advise is maybe a clean install, as almost 100% of the time Crashes are due to a broken Mods Folder, Scripts, ect. However, there are rarer cases where something with the Game itself is borked and wouldn't really be easy to fix, making a reinstall the best course of Action. Ensure you have a valid Gameconfig, Heapadjuster and Packfile limit adjuster, as these sometimes needs to be reinstalled after Updates for whatever reason. All of these can be found with a simple Google Search. Secondly, if the Window that pops up saying "Collecting Information: is RPH, this is a known issue and is an issue with Windows itself. It happens when GTA V Crashes and Windows fails to fully Kill the GTAV.exe. Unfortunately, in my experience there is no way to Force Kill the Task because Windows simply pops up with an Error saying "Access is Denied" meaning you have no choice but to restart. This seems to be an issue that pops up with every new Windows Update as of late. One last ditch thing you could try is ensure that you have the latest SHV, I am sure you do but it doesn't hurt to triple check, and then finally, go to your Game Directory and Locate a File named "dinput8.dll" and delete it. This File is NOT essential to the Game and has reportedly caused issues in the past.

It will work all the same if you use the same method I do for Steam, I keep my Version Backups in a Folder completely on their own on my Desktop, Updates will not overwrite the Backup Files, only the Files in the Directory.

Hello, and sorry for the late reply. I just got power back after my State was hit by a Hurricane. Microsoft Visual C++ is a normal thing that has to be done in order to play GTA V. If it is still not working after the above steps, I reckon you have some sort of different Game Issue that is likely to be unrelated to LSPDFR. Depending on what it is, it may be best to do a clean install of GTA V. Does your Game just Crash straight to Desktop without an Error Code?

LSPDFR will not load
"[9/25/2024 3:23:15 PM.766] LSPD First Response: An exception has been thrown by a native: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." Please do the following. 1 - If you have a Mods Folder in your Game Directory, please go to your Directory and rename the Folder to _Mods. This will temporarily disable your Mods Folder and can rule out any potential issues with it. Attempt to restart the Game and LSDPFR. 2 - Go to Steam and Verify the Integrity of your Game Cache. 3 - If you have a Scripts Folder in your Game Directory, please navigate to it and also rename it to _Scripts. This will do the same thing as renaming the Mods Folder. 4 - Attempt running GTA V or RPH with elevated system privileges.

Firstly, if it is crashing even without RPH, go to your Game Directory, and rename your Mods Folder to "_Mods" this will temporarily disable your Mods Folder and it's contents. If the Game Launches Successfully after that, then you likely have an issue with your Mods Folder. If you have a lot of stuff in your Mods Folder, it is likely best to delete it and start fresh. From what I see in your Log, it is likely and issue with your Mods Folder or another Corrupt Game File. Please follow my initial troubleshooting step above, if that does not work, go into Steam and Verify the Integrity of the Game Cache.

Apparently A New Update
I said this in another post that said something similar. You should be backing up the 4 GTAV.exe Files in your Directory. I am still playing on 3274 because I backed up the 4 Files in my Directory months ago. If you don't do this, then you should be prepared to not play for days/weeks at a time on occasion. It is as simple and making a Version Backup Folder on your Desktop, Copy and Pasting the 4 exe Files in the Directory into that Folder (DO NOT DRAG AND DROP) and then, whenever a Title Update drops, do the same thing in reverse. Allow your Game to Update and then go to the Folder you have the back up Version in, and Copy and Paste the Backup Version into the Game Directory. I personally do NOT Update my RPH until WEEKS after a Title Update for reason like this, because Rockstar is completely Unpredictable.

This is why it is always best practice to back up the 4 GTAV.exe Files in your Directory. I personally do not Update my LSPDFR until a couple weeks after the most recent update has passed for reasons like this. I am still playing on 3274 only because I backed up my Game Version. If you aren't doing this, then you are quite literally making yourself wait sometimes Weeks to play LSPDFR when you could just Update the Game, go to your Version Backup, copy and paste your backed up Game into your Directory and keep playing. Just a word to the wise to anyone who may read this thread and not know any better.

Okay, after using this for some time, I have some things to say. First off, I think this Mod is fantastic and holds A LOT of potential as a new main Q&A Source, here are a few things that I have noticed: 1. The Answers sometimes feel REALLY "soulless" for lack of a better term, I am well aware the answers are AI Generated, but a good portion of the time it really feels like the interaction is almost robotic in a sense because a good chunk of the responses are something like "I'm sorry, I won't do that again." I hardly ever encounter people who have that mentality in real life (I am NOT a Police Officer, I work in the Private Sector as Security and Close Protection) my main point of this critique is to say it would be really nice if you added varying responses to each Question, similar to what another mod did where it had different Mood Ranges for each question. Yes this would take a lot of time and be extremely tedious, but as of right now I feel like that is the current thing that feels like it is missing. 2. This is a very Minor one following my first point, but I would really like to see more Questions added to the "Passenger Traffic Stop" section. Like "who does ___ belong to?" or "The Car belongs to you, why aren't you driving it?" those sorts of questions would be nice to have. All in all, so far, its pretty freakin awesome, in my opinion, some more variety in the Moods and Tones of the Answers, and some additional Questions would make this mod a perfect choice for the Q&A portion of STP. Great work so far!

Will there be LSPDFR for GTA 6?
As discussed at length on other Forum Posts saying the same thing. This simply is just not possible with the current way LSPDFR Operates. You cannot do the same things on Console as you can on PC in terms of Modding (& many other things) due to a laundry list of reasons, if you want to learn why, Google it. Unless Rockstar, in all of their greed, release a framework for Modding on Consoles that would be compatible with LSPDFR, this is a big negative. And even if they did create a Native Framework for GTA VI, who knows what it would entail for the Developers of LSPDFR in order to get the Mod to work on Consoles. Either way, it would not be an easy task. Secondly, with the amount of Buttons that are in use with LSPDFR on PC, I have absolutely no Idea how they would make it work with a Console Controller. Granted, I have heard that Modern Gen Consoles can be used with Keyboards now, but I have no way to verify that is true because I haven't owned a Console in 10 Years. All this said, in it's current state, LSPDFR is too complex to even consider trying to make for Consoles for many reasons, including the fact that Consoles natively are not Friendly to Mods that dive into a Games Files like LSPDFR does when you install Custom Cars, Scenery, Callouts, ect. They encrypt Game Files and cannot decrypt them like we can with Software on PC, they have a closed infrastructure, and Console Companies do not OWN the Games they sell, they have a LICENSE to sell the Games. I can almost guarantee you that Major Development Studios have a Clause in their licensing agreements to Sony and Microsoft saying that allowing Modifications to the Game would, at least, result in the loss of the License and, at most, result in Legal action. Just like when you buy a Game on Steam, you do not "own" the Game, you have a License to play the Game, hence, the EULA. Same principal.

ReportsPlus - External MDT [NEW Custom Reports]
I did the same thing you did and set my timer to 48 hours in Seconds. If the timer does in fact reset, that I will just manually reveal outcomes when the time comes, not a huge deal if I have to do it that way for now, I am glad someone else liked the ideas :). Looking forwards to the Updates in the Future, truly a fantastic software my Friend! Just one more thing, if you do implement a mechanic to automatically fetch Vehicle Data, I think making it toggleable would be perfect, as I am actually one who prefers to manually enter LPNs, I am sure there a few others out me like there. ReportsPlus - External MDT [NEW Custom Reports]
EXCELLENT Mod man! Very detailed, and makes every Traffic Stop/Callout feel closer to real life interactions simply by just extending the time it takes to wrap up the Call/Interaction by having you do actual reports. Just a few recommendations from my side. 1. Add a "Use of Force" Report option. Many Agencies across the U.S. have mandatory reporting if Use of Force is used during an incident. 2. Add an option to make Court Cases take Days to resolve instead of Seconds. This is a big one for me personally, but obviously it is up to you to decide whether it is feasible or not. 3. Add the ability to attach different sorts of reports to each other. For example, if I make an arrest where I conducted a search of both the vehicle and suspect, and I also Impounded the car, it would be cool to "attach" the Impound and Search reports to the Arrest report and then be able to see all on one page in the Log Browser. Not sure how difficult this would be. 4. I have made this recommendation on a similar Mod awhile back, but Auditory Warning Ques during a Records/Vehicle Check would be bada*s. For example, you stop a Car, you run the Plate and the Owner has an Active Felony Warrant, if the System made a little Warning Chime and had an AI Voice saying "WANTED" or "ACTIVE WARRANT" that would be cool. Or if the Owner of the Car has a CWL, if the Computer says "Weapons Permit" or something along those lines, that would be cool as well. This is a real thing used by some Law Enforcement Agencies Nationwide. 5. Add something similar to #4 but make a random chance to encounter a Suspect who has a Flag on his Record for past Violence. For example, in real life, if you have been Violent towards Law Enforcement in the past, they will put a Flag on your Record for being potentially confrontational to LE. Having the chance to see something like this In Game would be cool. Again, these are just ideas that I have. In no way do I expect you to follow through with them nor do I know if they are possible. Either way, great work!!

Search Items Reborn
Hello Officer034! I have recently edited your XML to include Real World Firearm brands and Names along with their respective Calibers to use inside of LSPDFR! I was just wondering if it was okay with you for me to Upload that XML so that others who may want the same sort of thing can use it without having to painstakingly add real world Weapon Names themselves, and also retain the other awesome stuff you have included in your XML, as I did not touch anything other than the Weapons and their Names, I even kept the Codes for the Weapons that say whether they are Loaded or Unloaded and what method they are being carried with. If you are NOT okay with this that is totally fine, just figured it would be worth asking. Thanks for the fantastic XMLs!

Custom PatDownItems.xml and VehicleItems.xml Weapon Issues.
Hello, I have been using the STP Search Items Reborn XMLs for awhile, and after so long I got tired of finding machine guns on people so often and also got tired of the generic "Sub Compact Pistol.." so I decided to Edit the XML purely for myself using my own knowledge of IRL Guns and implement REAL Firearms as possible yields to searches in both Vehicles and PEDS. Now, the issue is that after every time I have Edited the XMLs, if I search a PED or a Vehicle and find a Gun, and go back to my Vehicle and try to run a Serial Number, it just tells me that there is no Weapon. This wouldn't be an issue if I hadn't of made Custom Charges for CompuLite relating to Firearms stemming from real State and Federal Laws that I would certainly like to use. I will leave both of the XMLs below and if someone can explain to me what I am missing I would really appreciate it. EDIT: SOLVED. Turns out My Gut was right when I thought that there must be some sort of area inside of STPs Configs in order to define which Weapons will be detected by STP via their name. To fix this issue, simply follow a uniform method when editing your XML with Weapons OR Narcotics. For example, all of my Weapons in my XML have the Ammo Type of the Weapon, so in order to get STP to detect them in a Search, you must go into the Config and add those Ammo types as something that STP can find within the XML. To clarify, if I had 3 Weapons that I had just added and wanted to have STP Detect them for Serial Checks, and I called them something like "A 30-.06 Bolt Action Rifle, A Glock 17 9x19, A Colt King Cobra Carry .357mag Revolver" I would need to go into the Config of STP and add ".30-06,9x19,.357mag..." and so on. Another example, if you are using real World Weapon Brands as I am with my own XML, you can use the Brands of the Weapons listed in you XML, and example would be; "A Glock 17 9x19, A Canik TP9 SF 9x19, A RIA 1911A1 .45acp" inside of the STP config I would list "Glock,Canik,RIA" This method would certainly work, but if you have A LOT of different brands inside of your XML, it would likely be easier to use Caliber types. A final Method would to be use universal spelling on Weapon types, so if I had "A Glock Pistol" Listed in my XML, I would want to use the word "Pistol" in my Config, NOT "pistol" Capitalization DOES matter it seems. Hopefully if anyone gets confused like I did when they edit their XMLs for the first time, they find this post. It is really simple, funnily enough.

Deadly Weapons
Not sure what is going on, but every time I had used DW in the past it showed up in my Plugin List in the RPH Launch settings Window. Now, despite installing everything correctly because its not hard, it doesn't show up at all, and there are no effects taking place in-game, made obvious by the fact that I have had to shoot several PEDs and they are still taking a Full Mag and 1/2 like they do in the base Game. If you need a log just let me know, but I'm not sure if this is a common issue related to some sort of conflict or what. EDIT: Disregard, seemed to be an issue with the program I use for .zip Files.

Legacy Questions for STP
Please add Screenshots of this Plugin in use during Gameplay. It is much easier for me to look at those and make a choice rather than have to look through the XML manually.

To be really straight forwards, no. At least not to my knowledge. But I am almost certain that is not a possibility.

Intermittent Crashing after hitting F4
Hello, managed to get my Game somewhat functional but still struggling with this particular issue. About 55-60% of the time my Game will crash after hitting F4, most of the time I can relaunch and it will work fine the second time around but sometimes it will crash 2 or 3 times in a row before it suddenly works. I do not have any ScriptHookV.NET files inside of my Directory, only Nightly SHVDN. Any help is appreciated. RagePluginHook.log

I must be losing my mind. (CRASH ON STARTUP, NO ERROR CODES)
Afternoon, funny you mention that because I actually do not have any mods in LM, and I have never used LML to install mods for GTA V, I have for RDR2. I am now having an issue where EUP does not seem to want to work. I have installed the OIV Package, but every time I go in game it tells me I do not have L&O installed so that is currently what I am troubleshooting.
