Sure they're good ideas, the problem is that you are forgetting that GTA's scripting engine can only be manipulated so much, LCPDFR already pushes it as it is. It's easy to say it but a downright pain in the ass to script it without getting all buggy. The ideas you are suggesting are just too much.

It has nothing to do with the version, I used to have these export crashes too. You need to go through your hierarchy and analyze each and every node etc. because your model is corrupted. If this still doesn't work start over and rebuild the model. (Save as a .z3d in case)

Funny that you mention this, I have been working on a new "ELS" system for GTAIV, the suggestion you mentioned is incorporated in my mod. You can also change the sound to your liking in a .wav format.

Alright, so I made a Silverado and put a Whelen Talon on it. All the textures imported, of course. So this was how it looked: http://prntscr.com/njlaf The Talon had the red/blue LED texture. Looks fine right? But then, I imported the textures into OpenIV and boom the LED emerglights textures are gone. I triple checked: I imported all the textures from the Silverado and the Talon, still no luck. Someone please help me out.

Tazzzjor is banned from various sites for the ripping. Reckless does not rip, where did you get from? Also a note to those who continue to talk about AlecDurbin, he has changed his ways as far as I know he is not involved in the ripping or thieving of any models at this point in time.

You can get the VehShare textures from the zModeler site and to unpack the WTD just open it up in OpenIV, then export the files and open them up with Materials Editor BEFORE importing the model.

Yes its his first skin; but this is still nowhere near the quality needed to make a release. I made my first skin around last week and as you can see it has much more effort put into it than this.

As Sniper said most probably a problem with a missing reference. Also, the e.Key value may be masked (the Alt key = System key try e.SystemKey)
