JM Modifications

Disable Pistol Whip is a lightweight plugin for Rage-based scripting environments that disables pistol-whip melee controls while the player is holding a pistol. It is intended for users who prefer to prevent accidental melee attacks when firing pistols.

Urgent Update Info - February 24, 2026
If you are upgrading from v1.0.1.1 to v1.0.2.0, you need to delete the old ini. Delete the old ini, launch the plugin again for the new ini to generate.

Installation

Drag and Drop "plugins" folder into main gta directory

Usage
By default the plugin is enabled. When a pistol is equipped the plugin disables melee attack controls so the player cannot pistol-whip while holding a pistol.
Console commands (type in the in-game console):
dpw — Toggle the plugin on or off (state is persisted to DisablePistolWhip.ini).
dpw_setkey <KeyName> — Change the keyboard toggle key (e.g. dpw_setkey F8). The key is stored as a string and validated at runtime if possible.
dpw_notify <true|false> — Enable or disable in-game notifications.
dpw_addweapon <weapon_name> --- Add a weapon to save to the config *NEW*

File Options:
Singleplayer -
Go to your dlcpacks directory then add the morerailroadpropsoncarsonaveremastered dlcpack into OpenIV then go to your dlclist in mods/update/update.rpf/common/data and add this item line:

FiveM - You put the MorePropsOnRailroadPropsOnCarsonAve folder into your server resources folder.

      Install the JM Callouts Remastered Icon Texture OIV, This is required otherwise you'll get an "IMGR" icon.
To Uninstall the icon, go to mods\update\update.rpf\x64\data\cdimages\scaleform_generic.rpf\ then delete "web_jonjongames.ytd". > done!

DLC Pack Missing! - Info
The Drugs Found callout relies on the mp2025_01 DLC Pack, this dlc pack must be installed and the item line must be in your dlclist for the callout to register and to get the DLCPack Detected Message. Without mp2025_01 dlcpack the callout will not register and you'll get the "DLC Pack Missing - Skipping related callout(s)" Message

How to Install:
 
Choose one of the option files > Open OpenIV > Go in edit mode > drag and drop "JM Custom Dispatch Icon Option XX - Installer"  OIV into OpenV > install in "mods" folder, not game folder.
 
How to Uninstall:
 
Drag and drop "JM Custom Dispatch Icon - Uninstaller" OIV into OpenIV > Click "mods" folder > Click "install" > done!
