The latest patch for GTA IV is patch 1.0.7.0, which includes all the previous fixes. Just download and install it to be all up to date.

First Person Mod Help in Patch 1.0.7.0?
Have you installed the wrong mod? The First Person Mod made by C06alt states in the readme that it only works for patch 1.0.4.0 (I would know, since I use it on 1.0.4.0; ). If you want one that works for patch 1.0.7.0, you should be using the First Person Mod made by k3162, which is a modified version of C06alt's mod made to work on 1.0.7.0. Hope that helps you!

GTA IV has stopped working ERROR
I'm pretty sure that has to do with ELS, as it crashes on me like that as well. Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about that, since ELS is very unstable. As some other players have said, you can try putting non-ELS vehicle mods into the "police" and "police2" slots, as they are the most loaded vehicles by the game and are most likely the cause of ELS crashes. Alternatively, you can disable ELS for AI to see if that helps, as I saw the AI had ELS enabled in your video. Keep in mind that I said I am running patch 1.0.4.0 of GTA IV, which has the best performance, stability, and graphics of any patch, and which also works best with ENB mods. I am currently using iCEnhancer 2.0, but I suggest you wait for iCEnhancer 2.1 to come out, as the creator says it will work with all patches of GTA IV and EFLC!

Please help
To do this, open the file "popcycle.dat," and for every line under "PercCopCars," decrease the number. This decreases the ratio of normal cars to cop cars, which depends on the number of cars total under "#Cars." It's a long and tedious process to change all of them, but unfortunately there is no other way. If you don't want them to spawn in traffic at all, remove them from the file "cargrp.dat." Look for this line: "police, police2, polpatriot, noose, predator, pstockade, nstockade, fbi # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS" and remove the ones you don't want to spawn.

I really have no more ideas about why your game is crashing if you've followed all the steps and instructions properly. That exception code is still the same, meaning the same as before. Just to make sure, let me know if you already did the following. I only ask this because you are still seeing the same exception code of System Access Violation Exception. 1. Ran the installer as an administrator by right-clicking it and choosing "Run as Administrator" in the drop-down menu. 2. Set your game's root directory not marked as "read-only." To check for this, go to your game's install folder, right-click it, and look at the "Attributes" section near the bottom. Make sure that "read-only" is unchecked. 3. Right-clicked on LaunchGTAIV.exe, clicked on "Properties" in the drop-down menu, went to the "Compatibility" tab, and then checked "Run program as Administrator" near the bottom. By the way, I actually have the same GPU, and am running the game fine with no problems. ELS (v6) will occasionally crash on me, but that's expected and I live with it. Without an ENB, I get 80+ FPS (on 1.0.4.0) and ~40 FPS with an ENB, whereas on 1.0.7.0 I get only 60 FPS at most without an ENB and ~20 FPS with it. So, another problem that is hindering you may be the ENB that you are using, as patch 1.0.7.0 is notoriously the worst patch for GTA IV in terms of all aspects—stability, performance, graphics, you name it. That's why I play on 1.0.4.0 for GTA IV (when I want great graphics) and 1.1.2.0 for EFLC (when I want all mods to work). You can feel free to for examples of what the game looks like on 1.0.4.0.

Sharing Findings with LCPD:FR Versions and GTA IV 1.0.4.0
Once again, you are welcome! I don't believe there is a way to turn off (or change the keys, for that matter) your ped saying stuff when pressing the numpad keys, as those are used by LCPD:FR. I personally have always used "shift" as my run/sprint key for all games I play for about the last ten years, so I'm very used to that, lol! Until G17 Media allows for changing certain keys in the .ini configuration file, there's unfortunately nothing that can be done except for changing your sprint key. Also unfortunately, there is no way to turn off police AI backup, at least not to my knowledge. And I totally understand where you come from

LCPDFR 0.95 RC2-R2 Setup Error
This problem has been reported a myriad of times. If you have done some searching prior to posting and looked at the posted stickies, you would have known so. You also failed to post a diagnostics log using the to see if you have all the proper components installed to run this mod and which would have distinguished your problem as unique, should you have tried all the troubleshooting steps. But anyways, the solution is simple. To successfully intall the mod, make sure you: 1. Hope this helps you out!

GTA IV has stopped working ERROR
You are still experiencing the same crash due to ELS. It's a very unstable mod due to the constant reloading of vehicle models. I rarely spawn vehicles using SNT, but when I do, I experience no problems at all, even when spawning ELS-enabled vehicles. Also, what you are describing about the cars spawned "coming to life" a few miles down the road later is normal—it happens to me sometimes as well, although usually not. I don't know what else to suggest to you other than try different ELS vehicles and see if they still cause crashes when being spawned multiple times. Just because you can occasionally spawn a vehicle doesn't mean it still isn't unstable; it should be able to be spawned all the time. Since you've already tried downgrading to ELS v5, there's nothing else to try really in an attempt to prevent ELS crashes, other than to possibly play on EFLC instead. I hear many members experience zero ELS crashes in EFLC, whereas I still experience—and live with—ELS crashes in GTA IV. Or, you may have just spawned more cars with high-polys than your computer can handle. This is normal if you do spawn way too many normal cars or too many ELS-enabled cars. I only say this in addition because you said you spawned many cars up until "police2," which it could have coincidentally crashed because you have spawned too many cars already prior to spawning it.

ELS Trouble, any help would be much appreciated.

Keep in mind that in doing so, you'll most likely experience horrible tearing effects, especially if you use ELS, as Vsync locks the rate at which the GPU produces images at the same rate at which the monitor can refresh at. Yes, Vsync does eat up system resources, but I keep it on to prevent this terrible experience.

If you want to keep the skin of the Dodge Challenger, just use SparkIV or OpenIV and extract the textures within the respective vehicle's texture archive (e.g. police.wtd) and save it on your computer. Then, install a different Dodge Challenger and reapply the skins. Unless the modder used a different model or texture map, the skin should work fine on the new model. Based on what you've told me about the First Person mod you installed and how you replaced dsound.dll, you probably replaced the one installed by LCPD:FR with an outdated version. You can either reinstall LCPD:FR to install the newest dsound.dll file or find it online elsewhere as a standalone download. Make sure when you install mods that you are not replacing crucial components for running mods, such as dsound.dll (which is an ASI loader), even though it is included in the files given. You have to use your judgement on what to install and what to replace, if it indeed needs to replace some files. Also make sure to install mods that are for your version of the game and not for other versions, as ones for other versions usually include older ScriptHook.dll, ASI loaders, etc. Lastly, it appears that you are still getting the C0000005: System Access Violation Exception error. This error only comes from running poorly written script mods, running script mods that weren't meant for your version of the game, or running the game without administrative priveleges. Are you sure positive you are running the game as admin? Make sure that you right-clicked on LaunchGTAIV.exe, clicked on "Properties" in the drop-down menu, went to the "Compatibility" tab, and then checked "Run program as Administrator" near the bottom.

You're welcome! Glad to help you out! "Forcing duty" just means you are forcing the mod to start without going into a police station and choosing your ped and vehicle. This may bring up bugs, since some settings may not be applied by forcing duty compared to starting the mod the normal way. And also keep in mind that this is only a developer function, and will be removed in the final release version. What you are experiencing is the normal operation of the older method of frisking, which has since been changed in 0.95 RC2, so don't worry. It sometimes takes multiple tries (spamming the buttons work best) until the mod recognizes and initiates the frisking process to the nearest ped. Yes, you do have to run towards the ped to actually frisk him or her, and if you "miss," you'll look like you're frisking the air. The entire process has been improved in 0.95 RC2 so you have a smooth transition from the "E" menu, to the frisking option, to the animations. It's not nearly as smooth of a process as it is in 0.95 Beta 1, but hey, at least frisking was intorduced and works relatively well in 0.95 Beta 1! By the way, here's a little tidbit since you appear to not know some of the functions of 0.95 Beta 1. If you want to open your police car's trunk to get armor and ammo, just face it and press "F4" (which was changed to "E" in 0.95 RC2), and your ped will open up the trunk! Just something useful to keep in mind while on duty in 0.95 Beta 1!

Problems using Police Mod, EFLC
No, running programs on an administrator's account does not automatically entitle programs to run with administrative priveleges, which is the result of Windows 7's UAC security system. It wasn't like this in Windows XP, as there was no such thing. Anyways, if the diagnostics tool still isn't working properly, try to place it into the folder where the game is installed to see if it can even find the game. At the very least, it should tell you what version you have installed (and looking at your error log below, you have the right one). Just an FYI, Windows System Restore usually does little to nothing in terms of fixing problems, and I don't advise using it. Instead, use an actual backup utility instead that can create images of your disk drives. I've never encountered that kind of crash before. The KERNELBASE.dll crash could been corrupted files, coding libraries, etc. There are just too many variables for that problem alone. To solve that (common) problem and continue troubleshooting, try doing the following: 1. 3. Right-clicked on the installer program, clicked on "Properties" in the drop-down menu, went to the "Compatibility" tab, and then checked "Run program as Administrator" near the bottom. 4. Applied the same "Run as Admin" settings to LaunchEFLC.exe for the mod to work. I can see that you are not giving the installer and the game enough administrative priveleges, so it is essential that you follow these steps to install and run the mod correctly.

Problems using Police Mod, EFLC
Are you running the diagnostics tool as administrator? If not, right-click on the tool and press "Run as Administrator" from the drop-down menu. The game shouldn't be taking more than a few seconds, on faster machines, to a few minutes, on slower machines, to load. You probably have something that's interfering with the game. Have you any other mods installed? Also, you said the game crashes. Can you please check for the reason that's reported by Windows? To do so, go to Control PanelSystem and SecurityAction CenterReliability Monitor, right-click on any intance that was a GTAIV.exe crash, and press "View technical details," then press "Copy to clipboard" on the bottom and paste the error log here. Just as an FYI, the game keybinds "P" as the definition-toggling button. Just change it to some other button that you don't use to prevent the game from becoming blurry when pressing "P."
