You're 24, and your preferred method of ensuring a weapon is on safe is to pull the trigger? That is idiocy. If you can't even handle a BB gun safely, you should not be allowed to own a firearm. You have shown us all that you're not responsible. Fortunately for us, you're a felon, so you won't (legally) be able to. I started carrying a handgun when I was 19. I've had BB guns since I was 10, and never done what you did. You are going to have a hell of a time getting rid of your charge. You were clearly in the wrong, and it was your fault. Another thing, there is no such thing as an "accidental discharge." There is only negligence. Accidents do not happen when guns are involved.

A gun designed to fire blanks is not a modified firearm. Firing blanks from a firearm does not make it a blank firing gun. You cannot modify a blank firing gun to fire live rounds any more than you can convert an airsoft gun to do so. Good luck with your felony. You're an idiot, and hopefully you'll grow up eventually. The black trim thing doesn't really bother me too much. It's ugly, but realistic. Also, EKALB, are you planning on making a variant with a Whelen Edge, like Lt. Caine's model? I would love one just like this one. All red, with takedowns on the front, bound to the highbeams. I didn't like this car because the takedowns were bound to the normal headlights. Can you make the headlights flash like this one, too? Sorry if I'm asking too much... I also want the slicktop, and the vector models.

I keep seeing people using "tazer." TASER is an acronym, and as far as I know, there is no such thing as a "tazer," except as a made up word to describe any TASER or stun gun. So, without looking it up, who knows what TASER stands for? I had to bring it up. It really bugs me.

Exactly. LAPD has no business patrolling the streets of NYC.

LCPD here. I made some custom skins, and a "street crimes" skin, based on a local detachment of my local PD. I do not use ELS. Standard lights paired with the strobes mod looks fantastic. Also, NYPD doesn't have a lot of lights on their cars, and LC is based on that... So, LCPD, vector lightbars, strobes. It wouldn't be right to play as LAPD in a city based entirely on NYC. And you talk of realism...

It's a very common trend, these days. It's also known as "Polar Bear Hunting." Blacks will target whites, and run up and knock them out. It's predominately black on white. That's not racist. That's statistic. Quit saying that it doesn't exist. It happens all the time. They usually attack in groups.

Okay guys. I'm back. I know a lot of military guys. I know a lot of National Guard guys. Well, former National Guard guys. The NG has a nasty habit of lying to people to get them to join. Also, remember that the NG is separate from the US Army. There are 51 or 52 separate National Guards. I live in Indiana. Say I join the NG, and 4 years later, I want to move to Michigan. I can't transfer units. I would have to actually go through the process of changing branches, which is entirely dependent upon whether my current NG wants to let me transfer. With the Reserve, you can go anywhere in the US, Guam, or wherever there is a Reserve unit, it is a part of the US Army. It's also much, MUCH easier to go active duty, if that's what you want to do. If you've got specific military questions, I'll do my best to help. I joined when I was 17. They gave me $20,000 to sign my life away for 8 years, and a sense of pride and belonging. Now, five years later, I don't regret joining, but I desperately want out. I realize that's not an option, especially if I ever expect to get into LE. The number one reason I want out is the disorganization and poor leadership of my unit. But, heh, I have one more year. At two days a month, and one more month of active duty, that's about 55 more days over the next 12 months. Not that bad, I guess.

Look, I'm in my fifth year of Reserve service in the US Army. The best advice I can give? Don't do it. If you don't listen to that, then at least DO NOT JOIN THE NATIONAL GUARD. I have to leave for a few hours, but when I come back, I'll explain in detail. I just wanted to respond to this thread before I had to head out.
