  4. How exactly is the system broken? I live in the US, and I believe our policing system is not broken. Sure it has it's flaws, but what doesn't? The only thing in our policing system that may seem broken would be the amount of force used at certain incidents/events, which IMO isn't a flaw of the system, but rather a flaw of the LEO (law enforcement officer) involved in the incident(s). The system itself, wasn't/isn't what allows these excessive force incidents, it's not like one of the state statutes says beat the shit out of this guy, it simply says this is illegal and this was should be done. The LEO himself is responsible for giving this punishment out, and if he steps out of line, it is his fault. Not the system's. -- In reply to the OP, I believe that you will always need some sort of authoritarian force capable of looking after societies members. If you go back to how the police force first came about and reasons why, it was not only found necessary but very rapidly was adopted across world ! Elderly, young and defenceless rely very much on some form of protection elements of society that would seek to harm, defraud or otherwise depress society as a whole. Do we further replace these with army? Let everybody fend for themselves? (I.e. the purge). Without police we would very easily, and quickly fall back to medieval times. In which tribal and regional forces group together for self protection and advancement. IMO hatred towards police stems from a personal negative experience with law enforcement, but my reply to the nay sayers is this - The police are not here to create disorder, they're here to preserve disorder. -Daley My 2 (and a half) Cents, McAwesome

  6. Not a command line necessarily, but in the .ini file there is a line like this - if you change the 2, to 0. Nevermind, I see you already tried that.. :/ . Hmm, so LCPDFR is the only script you have? If so the only other thing I could think of is that maybe one of the LCPDFR callouts is a footpurstuit, which is triggered every so often. That is a long shot, but if that was the case you would have to disable callouts to solve this issue.. Just trying to spitball some ideas, try disabling callouts, going in game and just doing traffic stops for a bit and see if you get any ambient events then. By this I mean changing this - to false, not just going in game and toggling your status to busy. I wish I could help further, but if that suggestion doesn't work, I am stumped. I personally don't use 1.0 and still use .95, which is why I am having difficulties helping.

  10. Solved my ambient issues, hope it works for you too!
  11. Do you guys have braveheart's policing script? If so try the following -- 1) Go to scripts, Policing.ini. 2) Change True to FALSE like so - 3) Play your game w/ no random events! -- If this doesn't work do the same thing in VDH police helper! Hope I Helped, McAwesome
  12. I like the overall design, and simplicity of these! Skin goes great with the models as well. In future releases you may want to include a few more lights, as well as a radar. Just some suggestions, still pretty solid models though! 3.5/5 's
  13. I use joytokey, same as xpadder, not sure if xpadder is free, but joytokey is. Also joytokey has a very easy to use and self-explanatory interface! https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0CB8QFjAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fjoytokey.net%2Fen%2F&ei=PHjHU_6zINajyATUyIK4Ag&usg=AFQjCNGKuh28zJC-1HK77VYcZvoJQG1LOA&sig2=t6DyhTPTqa6INXDo5qtPjA&bvm=bv.71198958,d.aWw

  16. That is part of the weapon, actually hardcoded/modeled with that specific weapon model. What is being suggested is a non-weapon mounted flashlight. And I have suggested this in the past but to no avail, really hope that fate isn't repeated for this request. I would be satisfied if w/ a simple script w/ no weapon visible, just a model that slightly resembles a flashlight and a beam of light that can be manipulated to be pointed in a general direction. *interlaces fingers and looks to sky, hoping someone w/ modeling/scripting experience takes this on(: *
