I agree 110% with you man, making guns illegal isn't going to stop shit, look at the murder capital of the U.S., Chicago. They have the strictest gun laws in the U.S. and one of the highest murder rates too. It's not like the bad guys are just going to say " Oh it's illegal to use guns now, here you go " especially because the guns felons have are illegally obtained anyways.

I am not suggesting they (will win the war, I am just saying LEO's need to be on there A game, so we don't have another hollywood shootout scenario. Yes in the end the bad guys will die, I just hope no innocent lives get taken in the process, just like in that Florida shootout. But hey, we'll just have to wait to see what happens. I am really hoping that this will subside w/o anything happening, and that this is just a gang crying wolf .

Think about the Dorner situation in LA not too long ago. They knew exactly who they were looking for, he was a single individual and he wasn't even hiding at first, just out in the open searching for cops by themselves. He lasted at least a week (if memory serves me right) before being found and killed. Yes, it did eventually end in a shootout, but not initially he caused significant damage. And that was when they knew exactly who they were looking for, now NJ is facing a gang - multiple people who can blend in when they want to and wait for the moment to strike. This is all worst case, hopefully the gang is just talking to gain some street cred and instill some fear in the LEO's.

This wouldn't be some gang v. cop gta style shootout... It would be an ambush. Gang members are not stupid, they will wait for the moment when they have the upperhand. Again, this is why I reiterate that these officers (And all LEO's) cannot get complacent, because a bad day in this business means death.

Public Stoning?

All he has to do is move, in 5 - 10 years (max) when he gets out of prison he will just move and blend into society again. Sure he will have to register as an offender, but that won't stop him from doing this hanus crime again. I honestly think that sex offenders should be treated as murderers. They may not actually kill the person, but the victim will never be the same again, and may never fully recover.

You set the config to rota , instead of leds for prml. Vehicle must be under police if I am not mistaken. Also this is only w/v8, no previous versions of els feature properly rotating lights.

That's the thing, gangs aren't restricted like police either. They don't care where they have to go to find a potential victim - in this case a peace officer.

Here is the thing, gangs (and any other suspect) has the element of surprise, a simple noise complaint or really any call where only one officer responds the gang has the upper hand. And it is not like the cops are going to start sending 3 squads to these routine calls, especially during peak call hours. This is why it is imperative that these officers (and all officers) are on their toes, and do not get complacent, no matter how the situation may seem.

I sincerely hope these cops stay on their toes, I really don't want to see another ambush like the Las Vegas one. RIP to the fallen officer, and condolences to his family, and friends.

According to audio, a suspect was aiming out of the rear of the vehicle with an AK47, and firing upon officers during the pursuit. There was also a hostage that was thrown from the vehicle, while the pursuit was still going. CA has had some notoriously insane pursuits, but this one is a special kind of crazy. When you install the files from the rar, make sure you put all of the files in the installation folder into your main directory. Not just the els ones, the scripthook ones too.

I assume your game worked prior to installing ELS V8, but not after? That sound about right? If so I assume you made the same mistake as me, which is that you didn't put the scripthook files, into your main directory. Hope this works!

I have no idea how to script, but I look forward to the great thing I foresee you making. All of your ideas seem pretty awesome, and all of which are at the top of my wishlist! Especially the traffic tickets, and reports, and overall taking lcpdfr one step further than it already is. Good luck evan, I can't wait to see what the future holds(:
