  1. SOLVED! dont use LGS but use manual transmition for changing your keybinds. Go to controls, wheel and pedal and go to button input. Press the 1st option ´wheeltokey´. You can now press the button you can change on the wheel and afterwards it will prompt and ask you what keybind you want instead.
  2. Greetings, I stumbled upon quite a few people that were using a steering wheel for LSPDFR and boy let me tell you, it's such a game changer. I'm very much into simulation games and this is just the holy grail for me. Now, I've been trying hard to fine tune my G29 wheel through the LGS (logitech gaming software) and for the most part everything works fine, you can keybind most of the things in-game through the mod "manual transmition" now certain things like ELS cannot be keybinded. So the only way for me to actively have my sirens and lights on my wheel would be for me to remap a certain key to the "J" key. Now ofcourse this should work, and it does, but only in Windows. When I press my "X" key on the G29 it gives me the "J" but whenever I load into GTAV it doesn't work anymore. I've had it working for a few seconds but very quickly after the remapped keys don't work and revert to the standard, even though you can still see them remapped in the software. And it's not that the key doesn't work at all in game, it does but just as a regular "X" and not the remapped "J". I'm so confused of why that is, especially since I've read a few posts about people that made this work like that. But also a fair share of people who are struggling with my issue, without success. If anyone knows how to help me and in essence a lot of other people please let us know. Because if I can get this to work than the possibilities are endless. Really hoping for a response, since this is my last resort.
  3. @cowboy199 have you found a solution yet? I'm having the same issue.
  4. Sorry to hijack this post. But did any of you lads make use of the LGS software to remap your G29 buttons to fe: "J" for ELS. I'm trying hard to remap my "X" button on the G29 to a "J" and in Windows it works flawlessly. But whenever I start up GTAV my remapped keybinds don't seem to work anymore? Any chance on how to fix this? I'd love to keybind my vocal dispatch, els, stoptheped menu etc on my wheel.
  5. Hey dude! I´m doing the same, it´s such a game changer. What I found is that upon pc start the remapped x button registers as a ´J´ like intented. But sometimes the remapped key doesn´t work. Would you know a solution for this? Edit: the lgs software seems to stop working once I start up GTA
