Hey, any update with this. I have been getting this issue for a good month now. I also use nve. Tried and changed everything i can think off to resolve this issue. Thanks

I added and removed so many goddamn files between NVE and GTA V that somewhere along the way I deleted something and haven't had a working game + LSPDFR all day so I am currently doing a fresh and clean install of GTA V and will try NVE once again with the above suggestions.
 
I almost have half a mind to start screen recording the ending of the GTA V fresh install, installing RHP and all necessary components plugins with NO mods except NVE, play around in-game up until I get ELS.asi scripthook error and send the video to Razed and everybody who is pointing their finger at us.
 
Such a great mod doesn't deserve such shitty developers who won't update and help fix these errors that THOUSANDS of people are having.

Yeah I also brought this issue up on the Reshade discord, and I got the finger and was told it's all on me. Guess you have to choose between Reshade, or everything else. I'll go with the latter and ditch Reshade until they (likely never) come up with a fix for this.

@OfficerBenzo For all those STILL having trouble with the dll file. All current versions of reshade are incompatible with LSPDFR and GTAV in general, hence why there are asi errors. If you right click on GTAV.exe in your main directory, then properties, and click compatibility, you can change it from windows 8 to windows 7. No, it does nothing to your game and all your mods and plugins will still work. I have done this myself and have 0 issues with NVE because the reshade that is included is now "compatible" again with GTAV.  IF this helps anyone please let me know, im been super salty for MONTHS not being able to use NVE and I've finally gotten it to work. The devs for NVE suck. sorrynotsorry.

Hey Benzo. Thankyou for your input regarding this ongoing asi crashing issue. So you yourself have also been experiencing this issue for around 6weeks now? Having the reshade folders in the main directory is fine, it is just that dxgi.asi file. I tried to raise my concerns with nve with this, which took a very long time. Razed has said that the dxgi file that comes with nve has not been edited by him. 
So i contacted the Reshade.me discord help, they advised to change the file name to "d3d12.dll", which i did, but the crashes remained. There may be someone, on that discord that has the answer, but as of yet, the quest for the fix, is still on going.   

Hey. I genuinely appreciate your Involvement in this issue and with the foundation that you have as a main lspdfr creator I figured a answer would be found quite sharpish. However as you know this has definitely proven to not be the case. Is it a nve issue or Reshade.me, that is the question? I will most likely do the same as yourself, as I've had to put a stop to video's for nearly a month now. Any information I find, I will update here ASAP. Thankyou 👍 

Thanks for confirming this, I will reinstall NVE in the morning and remove that from the folder

I know the feeling. I asked again today about this and the response was "not interested". I will try again with your new information. Just to check the dxgi.asi file (main directory) is still within your game? This would mean that I was wrong about that file being the reason and the error is with the reshade folder instead. I didn’t go one by one through the reshade folder provided in the SP NVE download package. I just removed the entire contents of the reshade folder from my main directory and I haven’t had the issue since. It has to be something within that, that’s causing an issue. I’ve posted about it in razed patreon but nobody seems to be talking about this. 

Hey steelie. Thankyou for this information. I was convinced that this issue was down to the dxgi.asi that comes with the nve reshade download was the cause of thus issue. Is that the one you mean? Would you mind saying or showing the files that you have removed please and does reshade still work correctly with the changes that you have made. (Does the ingame menu work?) Thankyou 👍 

Hey so I just recently added NVE again and I’ve also had the same issue, I’ve removed and Reinstalled basically all plugins/scripts that use a asi. FOR ME, I had to remove everything that came with the reshad folder, not sure if the asi provided in there for the menu clashes with els/trainer. I believe having the ins menu does something with els and trainer asi’s.
