Hello there :) I've encountered a weird little bug (basically two) while playing. It's nothing serious but somehow very annoying. First bug I've encountered is that after a while you're unable to pull out your phone (to check the time for example or to repair your car (:>)). Very annoying but nothing game hindering. Second bug I found was when I got a call from Roman. I turned on sleeping mode for story calls and such but some calls do get through. Problem here is, I got called while reporting that a suspect is dead and while the radio was out, I answered the phone. Now after I hang up, I'm stuck in a weird animation, trying to put down my phone and talking into my radio at the same time. I can't enter my car anymore or do anything else and I have to restart the game. :/ It's nothing big but I thought I let you guys know. Cheers :) PS: Nothing related to the bug but I'm having a really hard time working around the available controls in this mod. Not everything is written down in the (in my opinion, concerning the controls, very user-unfriendly) User Manual (for example calling in a helicopter) and I can't find a real guide with all the commands (and how to activate them) in the forums here (I am very sorry if I overlooked something). It'd be really great if someone could bring himself to writing down everything possible in this mod. I found other people in here also having a bad time with all the available controls. It would be really appreciated! =) Keep up the good work though, this mod is really great!

Hello, I have a little problem regarding the tutorial in LCPDFR 1.0. When coming up to the part where I shall grab the ped and move him around, my game simply won't do anything. I'm stuck in the tutorial and can't proceed. I've tried pushing E numerous times, aiming, holding down etc. and nothing worked. I tried restarting the game but now I'm somehow unable to access the tutorial again. :S I've included my logs and such but I'm not entirely sure if they can help regarding this issue (but I did so because these many, many warnings told me so. :P). Tried running LaunchGTAIV.exe aswell as GTAIV.exe as admin?

So, after a few days off I decided to uninstall 0.91 and install 0.95 step by step after reading over and over through the forum and so on. I started firstly by turning down my graphic settings (sounds odd), installing the first time without callouts (since I had the assumption that the game crashed more often while recieving a callout) and without tazer and a) with dsound and b) with xliveless. After installing step by step it decided that dsound was the problem. With xliveless and a new game it worked out fine for me. So if anyone has a problem where your game freezes or crashes after starting or going on-duty and your GTA IV stops working and you end up without an error (I'm just trying to cover up my google search guesses for people who might else try these out too lol), just try to install with the least features (basically everything except tazer and callouts and a new savegame). It worked for me. Another thing I did, since I'm launching through the LaunchGTAIV.exe (which I start as admin), I activated in my GTAIV.exe "Always start as admin" (additionally to LaunchGTAIV.exe as admin). I hope this might help somebody. And thanks for (atleast) replying to this topic anyways.

I have no idea why it's shown as "unknown", I have bought my Windows 7 Professional copy a few months after release from ebay... And yes, I'm always trying to find a fix via google first, I'm not a big fan of forum posts :P But I really tried everything, every solution like running as Admin, reinstalling LCPDFR or GTA IV...nothing worked. I'm having a quite odd problem with my GTA IV. After a bigger break with GTA IV I decided to reinstall my GTA IV and to download LCPDFR again. Note that I played this mod before, with my older computer (since I got a new graphics card and CPU and 8 gigs of RAM) and LCPDFR 0.95 worked fine. Now, since I have my new computer, I'm getting really "random" crashes while having LCPDFR installed. Sometimes I'm getting crashes when I'm leaving my safehouse or if I approach the Police Station. I was even able to get a first callout and drive to it (it crashed anyway...) but I cant play longer than 5 minutes, thats the maximum amount of time I have, mostly it crashes even after one minute, sometimes even earlier. My specs: CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1045 T (6-core-processor with 2,7Ghz) GPU: Gigabyte Radeon 7870 OC with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM RAM: 2x4 gigs of DDR3 These are the specific ones that changed, I didnt switch my HDD or Mainboard or anything else. What is perhaps of importance too is, that my game crashes after ~5 minutes even if LCPDFR isn't turned on in the game. My game crashes generally if LCPDFR is installed in my root directory. I can run GTA IV Vanilla without any other mods just fine, just happens if LCPDFR 0.95rc2 is installed. Version 0.91 is working though, but..well. The newer version is better. :P If there is no solution for my problem, then I just have to play with 0.91 but I dont want to give any chances away getting this problem solved. So if anyone could help me with my problem, that would be really great. =) PS: I dont really know if I should have posted this in the LCPDFR Support section (since its closed) or here, because its rather a general GTA IV problem (with the mod), so if I have misplaced this topic I am sincerely sorry. :( PPS: Sorry for my english (I think its not so bad though :P), I'm german. :P No idea? Hello, sorry, I'm new here and I apologize if this is the wrong Sub-Forum! I am currently having problems with downloading the LCPDFR 0.95 and 0.91. The Download isnt starting correctly and if it is starting, I have got Download-Speed of 1kb/s and lower. (There is no problem with my Internet connection, other people I asked couldn't download it aswell) I dont know if its just me or everybody having this problem. I would really like to play this Mod and it would be great if somebody could fix that! Greetz

I really like the idea of Roadblocks in Pursuits. Would be really awesome, you chase a suspect down on Frankfort Ave (e.g. :P), with 3 units behind you, suspect doesn't want to stop, you call for a roadblock, the suspect drifts, turns around at the roadblock and is surrounded and has no other option left: Surrender. :P Spike Strips could be implemented into the Roadblocks if you ask me. you have e.g. 2 units and in between of them (or outside) there are 2 spike strips. That would be really, really awesome. =)
