Ah alright, so I can go insane on graphical mods (that has no effect on gameplay, only affects .img/.png files etc.) and it isn't likely to cause any compatibility-related crashes between the player(s) and I?

Sorry for the double post, but I just tried LCPDFR with 1 other person. There was a ****load of problems happening :P His LCPDFR had a script error, and couldn't play normally. I had no error, but I couldn't properly pull people over with this ticket animation looping over and over again. I asked him what mods he had, he said he only had ELS and LCPDFR. Me on the other hand, have a graphical mod installed (VIVA New York http://www.gta4-mods.com/misc/viva-new-york-f11359), an ENB, and LCPDFR. No ELS. You said the exact same mods. Does this include mods that only change visuals like store signs and ENB? Thanks a lot for the help so far though :)

Ok so I'm a newb at multiplayer, and a lot of things confused me...4 things mainly 1. Before I installed LCPDFR, there were a lot of games and servers. After I installed LCPDFR, the amount of servers drastically dropped to free mode only, with 1-7 people on each server. Most of them had the host's name along with "Simple Native Trainer". These are servers hosted on the modded version of GTA 4 right? 2. I then added Simple Native Trainer to my GTA IV, went into a server, and spawned an annihilator and flew off. 15 seconds later I got kicked, lol. I tried rejoining and was kicked again. Are there rules for not using the trainer? 3. I made my own server, started LCPD: FR on it, and it seems to work fine. Is this how LCPD: FR is meant to be played? In private servers? (since public servers would mean griefing and such). Two people were able to join it normally, but do they all "see" what I see? Like if I take out a tazer, what would they see in their game if they don't have LCPD: FR installed? Or do something crazy like install Desert IV on my server?

Hello everyone :) I found this mod: http://www.gta4-mods.com/script/left-4-liberty-infection-v51-f17152 and I seem to have trouble installing it. It says in the instructions: "Place "Left4Libertyv5.1.vb" and "Left4LibertyFireBullets.vb" into A NEW "scripts" folder you creat in /Rockstar/Grand Theft Auto Iv for .Net Script Hook. Place "Left4Libertyv5.1.ini" and "Left4LibertyFireBullets.ini" into the "scripts" folder created in /Rockstar/Grand Theft Auto IV" I can only see one scripts folder in my game folder, and that's the one created by the net script hook. That's where the .dll files go (according to LCPDFR files). I've tried adding the VB files into the scripts folder, but of course to no avail. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance...

So by default, after going on duty, you should get like a pistol. But when there happens to be another pistol on the ground that I pick up (whether it's from a killed person or arrested person), the pistol always gets replaced despite the fact that I never picked it up. There's also another thing I noticed about these start-up weapons. Usually, when you take out a weapon like a pistol, your bodyguard (I assuming your 'partner' is technically a bodyguard) also takes out their weapon in unison. But this doesn't seem to happen when I take out my start-up pistol. He just stands there, doing nothing. On the other hand, when I take out the replaced/picked-up pistol, my bodyguard takes their weapon out in unison also. Does anyone else experience this small issue? ^^ Oh, btw, I'm playing on Episodes from Liberty City/Ballad of Gay Tony

"all my mods" I suggest you disable all your mods except LCPDFR and try running it that way. LCPDFR does not support third party modifications when you're running LCPDFR at the same time...in case you haven't figured it out. and lol @ Officer "Whitelaw"

Haha yeah, definitely get a new graphics card if you're planning to play a game like GTA

16 GB of RAM is 4x the needed amount for a standard gaming computer :P. It's not all that needed unless you have a job that requires you to do things like CAD modeling. I only have 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 285 (pretty old) and i5-2500 quad-core, I can run all settings on high (not 'very high') except texture quality and I get a consistent 30 FPS. It mostly depends on your graphics card & your processor in the end imo. I'm not sure about your graphics card since I'm not a AMD user, but everything else seems pretty darn good.

I assume SNT is Simple Trainer 6.4? (also forget about the KPA skin, I'm now using this one http://www.gta4-mods...ent-pack-f13659 due to a misunderstanding) I'm not using the componentped files btw, I'm using the playerped files. I don't think I can use the trainer to change the goggles can I? In the description it says "sam fisher v1 has two goggles and you can change goggles in clothes menu( special 2).remember each version has special head and not compatible with other versions." I don't understand what this this clothes menu Thanks for the reply

Hello everyone. I just added the skins for this mod - http://www.gta4-mods...f13515#download and it included some sound files to go with the silenced weapons. The only problem is that if I try to replace M4_SHOT1_L (32000Hz) with the mod's silenced version M4_SHOT1_L (44000Hz), repackage it, then replace the ivaud in resident.rpf, GTA4 doesn't load and is stuck at the intro screen showing the license stuff and whatever. If I replace it back with my original weapons.ivaud, it loads fine. I'd appreciate any help, thank you. Edit: I figured it out. I had to close the pograms that had the ivauda file open. Moderators can close this thread if they wish.

So I got a mod that lets you change into the uniform the KPA is in in the game "Homefront" (http://www.gta4-mods...y-police-f12295) According to the images, there are several variants of the uniform but I can only get into one. If I try to change my clothes from the safehouse, it gives me some messed up textures which gets me guessing that it only works with the default clothes Niko is given. Does anyone have a clue as to how to get the different variants? The variant I have is And apparently, this one isn't even in the screenshots. I don't know what to think of it haha. Thanks :)

Like ehm, "not supposed to happen" I don't think so, or "no way to changing that" I don't think so?

So...if I do a random frisk on a person and they start running away, is your partner supposed to start shooting them? It seems illogical that as soon as a person starts running, you gun them down dead :P Is there a way to have your partner not to use their weapons unless I start using them myself? Thanks
