Well that was interesting. I randomly clicked on GTAIV just to see what would happen and it launched....and then crashed and then I launched it again and played through till I got the phone. I quit and then installed LCPFR and then it comes up with that same error again...hmm.

Sadly the NoDVD did not work. I still think its the 1.0.7 patch. I really contemplating just buying it off steam...

All depends on the system. I tried it and it looked nice, not as good as the screens and video but pretty good, lagged a lot though

Yeah no worries. I do. Ill check it out after I do a full reinstall. Would it be best to install and then update to 1.0.7 and then do the NoDVD?

Right. I had a few on but when I uninstalled it I cleaned up the folders so no mods. This is really perplexing. It really seems to be that 1.0.7 is causing this. When I had the mods on, I had it patched to 1.0.4 and nothing was wrong. Ill check out that NoDvD thing.

No, its a legit DVD copy. W7 Huh interesting. Ill look into it Did all that already. The Latest Patch(which is 1.0.7) is the one that seems to be causing the issue.

I have no idea really what is causing this. I have done it a few times, which is to install GTAIV(clean, nothing else) and then I update to 1.0.7 and then it says "Securom launcher stopped working" everytime I try to launch it, it makes absolutely no sense. When upgrading to 1.0.7, should I gradually update through all the patches or just go ahead and just update from base version to 1.0.7? This has been really confusing because I have played with other mods on GTA4 as well. I have also tried to "update" the Securom Launcher with their diagnostic tool but it still does not work.. I am at a loss and have no idea what to do. This is the 3rd time I have tried doing it and it doesnt work.... Thanks guys, hope I get some help on this.
