Hello guys, I'm running pretty much a Vanilla copy of GTA IV, Installed it once again just to use this wonderful mod. I'm using the latest scripthooks I think, and all of that shit, Running latest version of GTA IV, But after 10 minutes of playing my game seems to just lock up and then say GTA IV has stopped responding. I've tried heaps of things and don't know what to do or how to fix it. please help me Is there a error log file somewhere I can give you? Edit: SCRIPTHOOK - 0.5.1.0 It's not my actual install, because It never crashes unless I alt P and turn Police mod on, Then about 5-10 mins later it just crashes. All I want to do is be a cop in this ! :P

Why keep posting this BETA not accepting bug reports etc bullshit ? I can't ask if anyone else is experiencing it without you guys HAVING to notice it as a report? I am not reporting it too you, I'm reporting it to new users the fact that 1. My game crashes every 10-15 mins, and no fix even re installing on vanilla isn't working 2. Cops randomly kill people around me who I'm trying to arrest.

LOL hey guys, Anyone else experience this ? "Walking down the street, See's someone looking sus, Frisks them, finds a whole bunch of id's, I chase him, Pull my gun, press E to arrest, And now either by this stage, or while we are waiting for a vehicle to come pick him up, Police randomly will shoot and kill him, it's happened every time so far, LMAO!!!! Any idea why ? Can I fix this myself? It's so annoying haha.

Thank you for the tip, Mine still seems to crash all the time though on a vanilla copy of GTA IV, the game runs completely fine for hours, turn the mod on and it randomly freezes within 10 mins of it. I am hoping this fixes it.. P.S. I don't know why that mod locked my topic and told me to install it on a vanilla install.. What is he a mind reader? It is vanilla, re installed today specifically for this mod.

It took me a while to find a website that even had the controls, I looked on here and could only find Alt-P the rest I had to go to other websites to find out what they where, Still not 100%

Thanks mate, It's just confusing getting to know ALL the controls, frisking, etc etc etc, I still don't understand the main ones I need to know.

How's it 60% when all I'm talking about are the innocent people ? 6/10 people I pulled over where innocent, they all sped off, The other 4 who had charges against them didn't. Okay I'll do it more often mate, thanks! P.S. Is there a way to change the controls ? I'm on a gamepad and it's hard always going back to the keyboard. If I can't remap the stuff to my razer onza, is there a way I could buy say this? - http://www.logitechshop.com.au/logitech-g13-adv-gameboard.html And change all the alt+keys and the shift to just 1 of them buttons ? So instead of holding gamepad + pressing alt+key or what ever, I just press 1 key on the gameboard? / macro? Is that possible?

I know it's a game and can't be 100% realistic, BUT it is a POLICE mod, so you'd want it marginally realistic, And yes it is happening 90% of the time, Pulled over 10 people now, 6 of them have been clean, they've all sped off, The other 4 had done stuff or where bad, and none of them drove off. It's annoying the hell out of me. P.S. GTA IV has TONES! of swearing, why is it any different in here? Sorry though.

Hi, I love this mod, But god this 1 feature is so unrealistic..... "I pull someone over, I ask for license, They give me license, I go to my car and check it, "THEY ARE CLEAN, IT ALL COMES BACK PERFECT, The moron speeds off when I get back to the car "90% OF THE TIME!* That is just bullshit, Why give me there license if there going to speed off when I wasn't going to do anything? Why not speed off in the car? Why even speed off if you're clean? This feature needs to be toned the fuck down so maybe 5% of people speed off when there innocent, because this is just annoying the hell out of me. Apart from that this is a good mod, But fuck this part is frustrating to the point It's laughable. Is there some way I can edit something to stop them from speeding off all the time when you check them for a ticket? :(
