hellya2011 got a reaction from spacejam in Crashing when accepting callouts
So, i had to update my rage plugin hook to v0.13.541.2492 (the latest) to get the game to not crash on the logo screen. It worked, i can go on duty, pull people over, but whenever i accept a callout, it notifies me that LSPD First Response.dll has crashed.
    Any work around?

    Hello there!

So, i'm having problem with my AdvancedHookInit.asi, which controls the taser. It work fine ingame, taser comes out, loads the .asi properly, but the script is causing the city bug for me (aka texture/ model loss)

With the script installed, after a few minutes of gameplay, i start to get model pop-ins and outs. I've got other mods installled, but whenever i remove the advancedhookinit.asi, the problem disappears. I am using a commandline aswell, which helps, but not when that script is installed. I feel like it is draining my resources.
I've got a AMD 7850 HD with 2gb Vram, and 8GB of normal ram, Windows 7 64-bit, so i know it isn't my system.

So here is my dilemma... i know in the original 1.0 release, there was a method to manually install the taser found >here but with version 1.0c that method doesn't work. Any ideas?

hellya2011 got a reaction from CrossFire in NYPD Highway Patrol With Unfolding Arms in ELS v8
Just and idea i had. A while back there were some nypd highway patrol vehicles released with the arms in the lightbars, but they never moved due to the older els capabilities, but since els v8 is opening that up, and one of the els v8 features was the ability of an directional bar, what about the adviser bars (not sure what they are called)?

I don't know about anybody else, but i'd love to see some NYPD cars with rotating lights (like in bxbugs123's newest cars) and extendable adviser arms. I'm sure with some editing, or EPM magic, this could be possible.

the ".wft" in zmod needs to match how you export it. for example the car is named "noose.wft" you need to export it as "noose" any thing else and you run into the issue you are in. hope this helps
