Traffic Stop Scenarios
comply flee resist (aka uzi in your face) these are the 3 outcomes generated at random by the game. they are reset every time you begin interaction with driver and have no past history. for instance, a driver that complied and has no gang affiliation or such can at random start shooting at you after you return to the vehicle, since now you've reset the interactions and the outcome is generated at random once more. the secondary generation could be taken out, however that will result in them never getting spooked after you run their papers which also isn't realistic when it comes to real life. So while its stupid somebody with no history will start blasting at your face, it is there for a reason. there have been many suggestions as to things that could be added or tweaked (within realm of possibility with gta limitations) but all have fallen on deaf ears. so what you have now is what will be. make the best of it!

Fewer Micro Uzis in traffic stops
the uzi to the face.. sometimes double uzis. usually wielded by females. here is what i do now. i approach any car with my own uzi! always make sure its drawn. has saved me countless times further, avoid running names on the computer. reason being is after you run it and return to the car, and resume interaction with the driver, the game resets the flee/attack flags. so you are essentially doubling your chances of getting a gun in your face or another retarded pursuit. hardcore mode tends to force more headshots. also get the spotlight if you do night policing. another life saver.

Where would you like a new GTA be located?
Eh? You can be sure that the whole world wont be loaded at once for something that big. Also im sure they will remake the cities and not just combine them from each old version into one huge mismatched terrain. Just use the idea from each city over the years and make it again under the new game engine. the way gta is made a console can handle 10x the game a computer can

Map mods?
odd. i ran clockwork today and it was faster than the regular map. replaced bus and stretch models and had no traffic jams at turns since they can take the curves. also was clocking ai at 50mph... scary on that map.

well i have to because i get taxi bug.. ENB has no effect on traffic density................ I have problems, huge ones and its the only map that causes them.. so i # it out of the config. too bad. maybe once its out of beta :)

Do you have trafficload? Because at even 20 addon maps become a standstill of car wrecks. 40 i haven't even tried since that will crash me out in 1 second im sure. 8 works best for me on countryside. clockwork 3-5. countryside lags when looking at the city, pretty much the same angle the stock game lags on teh broker dukes up on the overpass (you know that section). but other than it's quite good for the size. i'll give him that.. but then i'll take it away for releasing it with all known issues. when i talked to him he was very dismissive since he knew all of them and didn't care. his aim now is to get ratings on gta4mods and subs on youtube for $. if he stated it isn't gta4 compatible (it is made for eflc only!) half the people wouldn't even look at it. anyway still like his work but wish he handled this whole thing differently. like make 2 versions. 1 without invisible trees and spawning issues for base game and 1 for the eflc crowd.

Yep really. Its really an annoyance more than anything.. taking it all apart to replace a 100$ part (i avoid more expensive mobos as they are pointless) though the asuses i used to buy were in the 150 range... 2 out of 3 failed within 2 years. then i went giga and havent looked back. 2 of 2 abits died too. oddly enough i have a 10 year old dell branded mobo that still works in server mode. alright enough nerd talk

Countryside Mountains V [Released!]
Not entirely correct either! There is something that causes stuff to not despawn on that map.. (clipboards, guns, cars you name it). Also i've seen ai crash into invisible walls in the middle of the road. and sure enough, i wrecked in there too. i think it all has to do with the terrible use of objects.ini

gigabyte all the way ive had nothing but issues with asus and abit (are they still in business even??) boards. ive thrown a pile of asuses over the years. but no gigas yet

Map mods?
countryside is the buggiest map he ever released. sorry but it has epic issues esp with addons that use spawning of objects. the list is huge i wont waste my time listing, play it and find out for yourself. also you need eflc to show it correctly. the desert maps suffer from terrible traffic speed (8mph or something stupid) since they are only 2 lanes and that confuses the game terribly. clockwork mountain is the best in terms of completion, detail and integration within gta and other mods. HOWEVER, the turns are too tight causing traffic to jam, esp when the buses go there.. (you could possibly remove the bus model with something smaller). but its by far my favourite addon map.. it has however some frame rate issues in certain spots. not for all (it ran fine for me) but some people get single digits. weird. as usual with all addon maps you need traffic density LOW. under 10, usually 6-8. else you traffic overload

Why do the doors on the police car Close and open really fast when ELS is on?
No because ELS redraws the car, not because it fixes it! The fix occurs because the car is redrawn from new. Any damage in game is overwritten by the base model of the car whenever ELS lights change state The doors clip back and forth because the car is redrawn. Like the animation of door open takes place but els redraws the car in stock form so doors are constantly being shown as closed. Amazing people still dont know this but have so many theories

Tips for preventing texture loss
fixed it for me. im maxing all textures with enb and no worries turn shadows down. view distance and detail no more than 40. traffic in the 20s. IT IS a memory lack issue 70%, 30% vga chipset power. if 2 dont do it for you, go 3. i couldnt even load the enb with under 2. now im up to 3gb 680 series

I think what throws a lot of people off is that it is based around UK police, which is a lot more on foot than US one. In the us/canada 99% is car based. So when you get to a scene people are like "uhm ok now what". I haven't gotten any bugs with 2.x but i haven't used it much because i find the interface clumsy (too many keyboard shortcuts). I know the first (or well 2nd if you will) release caused my vehicle to disappear (i must have been the only one with that particular bug) but this is fixed in 2.x.
