If anyone else is having seemingly random crashes make sure you don't have the first person mod installed, I had somehow forgot to remove that one when removing mods, removing it and putting back all my old mods resulted in the game being perfectly stable again. I don't know if it will help your crashes, but for me this mod was causing a lot of problems.

ELS 7 really kills my performance for some reason. Without it I can easily pull a comfortable 40-60fps on near enough max settings (draw distance and vehicle density scaled back a bit) but when I have ELS 7 on I constantly drop to below 20fps. This didn't happen with any previous versions of ELS and it seems even if I put my settings to minimum then the FPS still drops a lot with ELS 7 installed vs ELS 6. Does anyone know why that could be?

What settings make it roughly the same as it was in ELS 6? I've gone through the user guide several times and still can't wrap my head around everything. Might be because I'm tired, I'll try tackling it again tomorrow I guess.

Thanks for the video, I felt pretty stupid after I saw what you were supposed to do - I had gone over the PDF a couple of times and somehow had missed that option every time.

I was playing GTA IV fine for the past few days, and I come back to it today after changing literally nothing since the last time I played, and it just gets stuck on the loading screen. I press "start" and it starts the slideshow of all the characters, but after a few seconds the music just stops and it stays stuck on that slideshow. I left it for two hours and it was still on that screen. Things I've tried: Disable vsync Verify cache integrity Remove all mods Reinstall Try using xliveless Try playing offline Updating video card drivers Updating steam Changing to lowest settings Reinstalling Games For Windows Live None of it has worked and it's really frustrating, it just suddenly stopped working after I stopped playing yesterday - I changed nothing between the last time I played and when I tried to play today. I think maybe if I replaced the SWAT animation with the cop animation then it would work - Does anyone know how to do that? (I don't mean editing peds.ide and changing the swat line to cop, I mean replacing the actual animation)

Yeah, I tried that, but the problem is that they hold two handed weapons like the ARs and shotguns with one hand like you hold the SMGs.

I noticed that NOOSE only has the crouch-walking animation. I want to change it so they walk like normal cops. I've tried Simple Native Trainer, but that results in the ped holding two handed weapons to his side instead of properly. The same thing happens when I modify the peds.ide file. Is there a way to get them to walk like cops AND hold weapons properly? I know I could use helicopter pilot NOOSE, but they have the wrong helmet and I want the AI NOOSE to walk like normal cops too

I'm having an issue with this mod that makes it so the loading times for going into/out of the police station are very long (about 1 minute).I'm playing without EFLC on Steam with the xliveless DLL (It's still slow on the dsound.dll one) It's not that big of an issue, it's just frustrating because to start playing I have to go into the police station, then go on duty, which teleports me outside the police station to select my model, and then get teleported back into the police station, and then have to go back out of the police station to get my vehicle. It just makes it a very tiresome process to do because it takes a really long time. I don't think it's a specs issue as the game runs fine at 30-60FPS on max settings, depending on how much is going on around me. I tried lowering my settings anyway and it's always the same.
