FLSTPRINGERF2012 got a reaction from Faya in My very first suggestion for LSPDFR
While I lack the expertise to develop LSPDFR myself, I deeply appreciate the incredible work you've done thus far.

In my first week of forum participation, I hope you'll bear with me if my idea seems a bit off.

I'm wondering if it's feasible to create a plugins that allows users to generate all Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) for a department based on MP characters.
The concept involves deciding the department size, determining how many officers are on duty or off duty, and utilizing EUP to customize every LEO and name these characters. I would be willing to financially compensate someone for developing such a plugin for public use.

Just imagine the ability to create and deploy your friends as patrolling and backup officers in-game. Or even recreate a dept. you personally know and Respect.

I get both sides of the story. When I first jumped into LSPDFR (automatic install), it felt like a walk in the park, just stuck with the basic version. But the more I got into it, it's like a soup recipe, you know? They throw in the basics, and you spice it up however you want. Gotta admit, I'm an ELS-vegetarian lol, but now that I've caught onto its vibe, I'm totally loving it this way!
I haven't tried LCPDFR, so I can't make a comparison. However, I must admit that the ambulance and firefighter gameplay seems enjoyable to have in the basic version of LSPDFR. I have to agree.

I never thought I'd see an analogy for LSPDFR involving soup!
You really hit the nail on the head...or should I say hit the crouton in the soup? 🤪

It's update season! We've released a compatibility update for LSPDFR 0.49 (Build 8564) which adds support for the new version of GTA V (v3028.0).

This build also includes some minor fixes for LSPDFR:

    Fix possible crash in ProcessFleeingStart
Fix potential null reference when spamming keys and opening the backup menu in certain situations

Although this build has been tested before being made available to you, there's always the chance there's issues - please report any issues or bugs with LSPDFR on the new game version, if you find any, on the support forums.  If you do think you've found an issue, please make sure you're on the latest patch, RPH and LSPDFR version and you've tested the issue is not your mods folder needing an update (e.g. your game runs normally without RPH/FR).

As always, the new version of the RAGE Plugin Hook which is required for LSPDFR to work on the new GTA V update is included with the new LSPDFR download.  The RAGE Plugin Hook website has not yet been updated, so you should not download the RAGE Plugin Hook from there but instead use the included version with LSPDFR.

Please ensure that you now update your game to the latest version of GTA V before playing this new version of LSPDFR 0.4.9, which you can find on the main LSPDFR page.

I can understand that some people feel that base LSPDFR is incomplete, and to an extent I can agree with you.

But, like Charlie said, I think it is better off allowing the community to create great things to throw on top of the base framework. It gives the community more freedom in that sense.

I've heard that LCPDFR had way more features than LSPDFR like fire and ambulance gameplay. I feel like the base game is extremely lackluster in the features that it offers. Especially with the callouts and law enforcement aspect. The base game only has 2 callouts which kinda baffled me. I needed to install at least 4 mods to get LSDPFR to feel like a good game. Stop the ped should basically be included in LSPDFR base game. I am not complaining about the game too much but I am just wondering if other people thought this as well. LSPDFR really needs more features to feel like a complete experience without needing to install dozens of mods. I was also very surprised that the base game doesn't have any booking system or citation system, this seems like common sense to be honest.

I'm certain this has discussed before, so I won't go into too much detail but - LSPDFR is only as good as the community modders behind it!

I don't imagine that LSPDFR was ever there to be the complete solution. It provides the tools for other people to dedicate time & energy to create mods for it -- which is not something that even the LSPDFR team have all the time.

We're fortunate enough that there's an active development community and while I have no doubt in the development team behind LSPDFR, why not offload it to those willing? Sometimes it is only those apart of the community who can create ambitious plugins like GrammarPolice, computer systems you mention etc.

You make out that 'needing' to install mods is a bad thing, but I truly believe it is the exact opposite! All of a sudden anyone can develop for LSPDFR, and users enjoy the freedom and choice when it comes to installing what they'd like in their game.

Just my two cents! Hope you appreciate the perspective. 🫶

    This thread will be a work in progress;

Alright it's been a year and a bit since my last thread with my build for LSPDFR and it's time to do it again! My computer is a beast now compared to before (will include specs down the bottom) so I can run everything maxed out so that's what this list will be based on, just remember add one thing at a time and test for as long as possible then add more. Add what suits you and fits your PCs capabilities. That has been my key to getting this far with near perfect stability with play times of up to 2 hours... most of the time. Be warned LSPDFR will break eventually!
Going to keep Callout packs & vehicles out this as that's completely subjective & and things change like game version, bugs & issues.
The .ini files and settings have been tweaked to my preferences which is basically maximum difficulty. Cars that are designed to be fast will get away in pursuits if you're not quick and same goes with the super sprint being tuned down to be a more of a realistic burst of energy so foot pursuits will last longer! I don't play this game to win I play for immersive roleplaying so tweak the settings how you want them if these do not suit you!

    Gameplay & Meta:
With just these running and nothing else the game should work almost flawless. It's when you start adding mod packs and plugins is when LSPDFR becomes can become more unstable.

Can anyone create this as a mod for the game? I recently saw the video and think it would be an awesome mod for lspdfr

It is a grapple that is attached to the ram bar of a police car that can stop a car in a chase.

Especially from Rockstar. We give them a lot of crap due to their stance on modding, but when it comes to making amazing games there is a reason they're at the top. If GTA6 looked like RDR2 it would be incredible. It will most likely blow RDR2 out of the water, and my GPU.

I'm not too sure on that one - usually the game launches better graphically sense than the trailer purely due to the time since first trailer vs the launch, I can't recall a game they've released where the trailer exaggerates the quality, it's possible it could happen but on form it seems unlikely.

Oh ya, no doubt that it is today possible to make much more impressive trailers, The current video, animation, and model-building-tools are significantly improved since GTA5 launched- NO doubt!
But.. Until we see actual ingame-screen-recorded-footage, it will be impossible to say how much improvement the game actually has compared to GTA5.
I am next to sure, that the game wont be that beautiful as seen in this trailer, so the reasons to get hyped should be map-size and interiors, where both afaik should be significantly upscaled -And that is enough for hype! 😛
    (( Also..
The real release of GTAVI that i will enjoy, will come when LSPD5 is released!
I have not found much joy in being a no good criminal stealing and destroying at random, but that just me, and my quirky ways..

I would love for there to be treasure hunting, ghost events, and just some hidden easter eggs/story extensions. Especially with how big the map is rumored to be, that would be awesome.

Seeing as VI will be set in Florida (Leonida, I know), I can't see any scenario where they don't put some crazy mysteries and scenarios in the game. If anything, it might be crazier than V, which I'd love to see.

It's probably a bit random, but is anyone else wondering if UFOs and some of the in-game mysteries and conspiracy stuff will make a reappearance? I'm hoping so, it would be cool to see what they could do considering it's more modern. I'm remembering staying up reading about the mysteries in San Andreas, the Big Foot stuff in particular and the weird glitches that could happen with gangs if you flew too far out.
