I just think it's mentally exhausting to have people who do not show appreciation for modifications/plugins whatsoever for making the base game or mod more enjoyable. People do this on their free time as a hobby and to get "shit on" by nonconstructive reviews or criticism wears them down enough over the years. They are making a statement by taking a break because it isn't more in the way you described how he is acting as a child but more so of the psychological effect. Individuals are more complicated and in-depth than your shallow statement. If the creator wants time off, then so be it. If they do not come back, then it is what it is. You of all people have to understand what the feeling is when you fabricate something you want it to live up to your standards, almost perfect, which is a flaw because it might not live up to your own or everyone else's.
