I know it's not in my additional plugins as this has persisted across two pc's (My old gaming build, and my new rig). I just installed everything on my new rig aroung March 15th. So everything is up to date, I also did a fresh download and install of ScriptHookV and RageNativeUI after I installed the updated LSPDFR. I have found a bad work around in if I hold down the forward or backwards key after pressing F to enter the vehicle, it will let me stay in the car. I'll try to get video of it happening this session to help show what's happening and i'll upload the logs with it. Thanks for the help!

I went through and updated LSPDFR and the problem persisted. This has been a long time issue for me that I'm still having a massive problem with. Essentially when I try to get into the vehicle it will start the getting in animation, and I'll either get partially in or all the way into the drivers seat then I get out again, over and over again when trying to enter my cruiser. It's extremely annoying and makes any kind of pursuit with the cruiser impossible once it starts because it takes so long to get in.

No, you have to run the Rage Plugin Hook exe you moved over to your GTA:V folder. Did you make sure to unpack that Rage file you downloaded and just move all of that over to the GTA:V game folder (the one your game is running from, not the one where your self radio and save files are) correct? Are you playing through steam?

How long did you let it run on that loading screen? GTA:V has EXTREMELY long loading times compared to most other games. Additionally did you do the first two story missions before loading Rage? There's a sort of forced tutorial and sometimes having Rage installed during that causes issues.

So doing a new post since I managed to resolve the other issues I was having. I'm having a gamebreaking issue now where within 15 minutes of starting play something happens that when I hit "F" to get into my cruiser, it starts the animation, then for some reason kicks me back out of the cruiser over, and over, and over again. It'll start the animation, and then somewhere between actually being seated in the car, and just having the door open, it will reverse the animation and kick me back out of the car. Every. Time. I try to get in. It frequently takes more than 10 attempts to actually get into the cruiser when this happens. All I have is LSPDFR, StopThePed, UltimateBackup, and CompuLite. All of this was installed within the last 3 days to a fresh brand new install of GTA:V. I'm at a loss on this, nothing comes up when I tried googling. The biggest problem I've having now is the Door breaking, which now that the other two crashes seem to be resolved by the Ultimate Callout removal. I get about 2 callouts in (I have callouts set to 750) and then it takes 14 attempts to get into the cruiser. I removed DoorControl hoping that would resolve the issue. But no luck.

It actually seems like its something with Ultimate Callout. I removed that and the problem went away.

So just tried playing again. It appears the information messages happen after I accepted a callout that didn't spawn, I got a call to a killer clown, showed up, nothing there, clear the call and then my messages don't work anymore. Here's a log of my most recent playing, which had a case of the menu break where I couldn't hit escape so I exited, then the second session the door didn't work immediately, then right at close it wasn't showing the messages again. Tried completely reloading all plugins and it still didn't fix it. Went in and turned cell phone notifications off and back on, still nothing. I'm at a total loss. I quit trying to play LSPDFR for similar reason months ago, and now that I'm retrying its so buggy and broken I can't even enjoy it unfortunately. RagePluginHook.log

I have a fresh install of the most recent version. I just installed all of this fresh yesterday. Even when I only had LSPDFR installed this was a problem. So it's not a conflict with another plugin and I was using the most recent RageNativeUI, in a fresh install of GTA:V Also, just checked again, cell phone notifications are turned on and it's still not showing the messages. Additional problem I forgot, for some reason the cursor is getting stuck on the screen and when that happens nothing really works, particularly if I hit escape it wont open the menu anymore. So my 3 problems are in this order of importance: 1: It wont show important information messages, particularly results from Ped and vehicle checks, narcotics tests results, and callout info. 2: It constantly breaks to where the cursor gets stuck on screen and then hitting escape or trying to use the wardrobe stop working entirely. 3: The door breaks so when I try to get into the car it kicks me out over and over again, usually playing part of the getting in animation then getting out again. 4: Character creation screen endlessly loads (I was able to get my character loaded so this is the least important). To re-iterate. Everything is entirely up to date, and installed on a fresh version of GTA:V where I finished the first two missions in vanilla GTA:V before installing rage and LSPDFR. I have the same problem. I actually did what you suggested on my own and did the first two missions in vanilla GTA V with nothing installed. I then installed JUST LSPDFR and nothing else to try and see if that fixed the problem. It did nothing to help unfortunately. This seems like a really common problem within the mod itself. Not the individual installs unfortunately.

Hey all, having a handful of problems that are making the game so buggy I cant really justify playing it without fixing them. 1 and the biggest: Stop The Ped is having a problem where the very important information windows that appear on the left side of the screen just stopped working entirely. Everything from information about callouts to what the results of drug tests and ped requests are. 2: When I attempt to get in my car it frequently gets into a failure loop of starting to open the door and stopping, as well as getting all the way in the car, then instantly back out, which burns a ton of time when you're trying to join a pursuit or go to an armed robbery where there's already a very short response timer. 3: is I'm also getting the infinite loading on the character creator. All of this is installed on a fresh install of GTA:V with the most up to date versions of everything. Only mods I have are LSPDFR, CompuLite, StopThePed, and UltimateBackup, in addition to EUP and DoorControl (the getting kicked out problem pre-dates the addition of DoorControl). I love the concept of the mod, but it's become so unstable with the more than year without a patch that its unplayable to me in it's current state, and unfortunately there's nothing to really fill the gap.

Have the same bug and a few others that are making the mod unplayable. It's really depressing because there's nothing else really on the market to fit this niche and this is so unstable I can hardly bother with it anymore.
