Title says it, R* is launching the new update later today and I was wondering if there is any mods or methods to block the updates from downloading but still allowing me to play GTA & LSPDFR at least until Scripthook V is updated again.

With the new launcher I am trying to find a way to play GTA and LSPDFR in the event another update comes and breaks the game and Scripthook V. Is there a way to play the game offline but log in to verify the profile? Before I was able to play offline with the -scOfflineOnly command which allowed me to play with full functionality even when an update came out. I was wondering if the new launcher allows that considering I overhead somewhere here that the new launcher does allow it but due to a bug it doesn't. Did rockstar release a fix for that yesterday with the 82 mb update for the launcher?

Well this version of Rage Plugin Hook is more unstable than the previous version, up until now I haven't had any issues both with starting, playing, and exiting the game. Now with this version I'm crashing constantly on startup and when I go off-duty on LSPDFR.

Launch GTAV while online? then what is the point of offline mode if you have to be online 24/7? Maybe some of us don't have a reliable net connection or don't want to have our games broken by updates.

ASISupport is not working for me, everytime I load it it crashes instantly as soon as I load into the game, I don't understand what I'm doing wrong? Is it a incompatible .asi? Pls help

I tried to use ASI support with RAGE but for some reason every time it crashes RPH when I load into the game. Only way at this point to play LSPDFR or GTA is to wait for SHV to get updated, god knows how long that will take. Well done R*, well done.

Is it possible to play GTA offline without a net connection?

Guys the time has come again to defend our modding community, 2 years ago we nearly faced extinction with OpenIV (being a critical tool for us). However thanks to numerous members including t0y we were able to overcome our obstacles and pass through the storm, for the next 2 years modding was saved. However until recently the launch of the new launcher for GTA is once again threatening modding for our GTA and LSPDFR community, the issue with this launcher is not that it's bloatware, but rather it forces you to be online at all times even to play singleplayer. This is a major concern because there is no way to block or delay updates now, the backup feature of RAGE is now useless. A hypothetical but sadly real possibility is that with this new launcher the updates will become more frequent and with no defense against unwanted breaking updates this will effectively suppress modding in our community. I'm a n00b and haven't been an active member on this site much but I've been playing GTAV PC since the day it came out back in 2015, I know no other game has the replay value that GTA has aside from flight simulators, that one thing keeping a 6 year old game still alive as it has been for GTA IV was modding. For that reason I am calling for a petition, a petition to be made to Take-Two and Rockstar games with a very simple demand: To change the new Launcher where we can have offline support again. By at least having this ability once more it will help to safeguard modding against game-breaking updates. We can overcome this obstacle if we have sufficient numbers. We should be given the choice to download updates if only we are to play in single player, if we are to play GTAO then that is fine. Im not the best writer for stuff like this but I am making an effort, t0y and all admins on this site we are asking for your help to pass through the storm once again.

The good news about this update is that it only comes with the shitty DRM launcher no game file changes, which a modder in our community hopefully will make a bypass mod for it. Seriously it's BS we have to be online just to play GTA singleplayer. The game files for this update are intact and it should be for the rest of you, I went to OpenIV immediately after the update to see if it would ask me to copy the new update.rpf over, and to my relief it didn't. I knew if I had to do this it would break a LOT of mods including the RAGE weapons & vehicles enhancer, my LSPDFR cars, and the ROF mod for the pistols, basically a lot of mods that took me several hours to days to install. I just played LSPDFR no problem and all works fine even the ASI mods thanks to an ASI support plugin for RAGE (basically to run ASI's until SHV is updated you need to run RAGE). Only simple trainer for me doesn't work which sucks considering I got my patrol gear loadout on that. Again someone will make a bypass mod for the new launcher, angry modders are motivated modders we just have to be patient.

True I used to have this issue before on my other PC the game kept crashing because I was using a bypass mod, now I have reinstalled to my other PC and I just use the launcher to play GTA, haven't had any issues since other than those pesky updates which breaks mods.

Does anybody know how to bypass the newest launcher from Rockstar? I can't even use my previous backup from Rage it just keeps force updating again.

Hopefully ScripthookV comes soon, also someone needs to make a bypass mod for this launcher since the other ones don't work!

Well GTAV just got an update and now all mods are broken because SHV now needs to be updated + there is no way to bypass the new launcher, I tried all the mods for that and none of them work.

So guys just a heads up Rockstar released a small update today which breaks ScriphtookV, until SHV is updated I recommend we find a way to bypass the launcher to prevent it from updating and restore your backups. I am having issues too Well GTA V just got updated after the launcher a few days ago and now my scripthookV dosen't work anymore and I can't play LSPDFR. Can you guys please tach me a way to play GTA V without having to use this darned launcher, it just screws everything up. I tried using mods such as no GTA V launcher from Unknown Modder but nothing I do seems to work it always boots the launcher and forces me to update the game to a version not supported by scripthook. My RAGE backups are now useless! Please help!

I actually installed this GTA onto my gaming rig brand new (warehouse version) and all my mods are now in the "mods" folder so the base game is completely untouched. Im stumped also why the decals don't work with the -scOfflineOnly command.

So I finally figured out what was causing it: being offline. It turns out that the decals are actually re-skinned crew emblems used in GTAO by EUP, therefore for the emblems to show GTA must load with social club connected to the internet even when playing SP. Once I stopped using -scOfflineOnly the emblems started appearing again. I wonder if there is a way to keep them while social club is offline?

Hello all I am absolutely digging LSPDFR 0.4, I especially like the new EUP uniforms however I have run into a problem, I cannot spawn the chevrons or ranks on the shoulders or collars of the shirts. If you go into a trainer such as ENT or Simple Trainer the ranks are under "badges", whenever I change them both the model of the decals or the textures they are invisible. This happens both in the main game and in LSPDFR, when I load my saved EUP uniform from ENT (which works fine) the ranks are gone, when I load last used outfit which had the sergeant rankings on the sleeves they are gone. The only thing I did was modify a texture for one of the plainclothes vests but this shouldn't be causing an issue with the badges/decals not showing! I looked all over and it seems I'm the only one who ran into this.

First of I wold like to say thank you to the LSPDFR team for giving this mod some love and updating it, I appreciate it very much! However for some reason when I start LSPDFR up it gets stuck on the black loading screen saying Loading LSPDFR. I have everything updated including GTA itself (Warehouse version), Rage Plugin Hook, and LSPDFR. I have my anti-virus turned off but still for some reason it is stuck on the loading screen. I tried some fixes issued by other people here such as turning the plugin threshold to 50000 but still it does not solve the infinite loading screen. So then I tried to start the game first then rage plugin hook, when I did that as soon as rage plugin hook loads the game crashes. I also noticed that ASI loader crashes every time I start LSPDFR either via rage plugin hook or launching the game first. I don't know what to do and I tried everything, I am unable to even try LSPDFR 0.4 because of this and would appreciate some help please.
