Ambient Detective Mode - Revamped
Im on enhanced, so I suspect it doesn't fully work. Found a dead body, assumed jurisdiction and tried to process the scene but got hit with: Shame, looked fun tho!

This is now a common error message, i've reinstalled: Does this work only with legacy or enhanced also?

Ambient Detective Mode - Revamped
Ah ok, sounds like a possible code enhancement to block the use of the button if an investigation is already active Overall though, i've had fun with this, 5 stars :)

Ambient Detective Mode - Revamped
When I press "start investigation" on a deceased person, I get an exception something about vehiclecount(). F2 menu still works, F3 menu fails.

LSPDFR 0.4 - Now Available
Works for me on a clean install so it's all the plugins that you have. I would recommend doing a cache verification on your files and start over

LSPDFR 0.4 - Now Available
Setup.exe worked fine for me on a clean install. It's in the police radio now. You should read the documentation first! Read the documentation, it will tell you everything from how to get started to what to do!

You should definitely win today for this. Out of all the circa 2.5k posts on this thread this would definitely prove useful!

Source please? Last thing id hate as a developer is someone mini modding and talking on my behalf so please post where the devs are getting annoyed?

Where's the fun in that?

I've never once heard someone say "Oh man I'm glad it's coming out in the next few weeks instead of now so I can get pumped up for it." No, that's on the developers for being ambiguous with the release date for a game we want to play. Similar to every game I've ever been waiting for due to pre-mature release estimations or ambiguous release dates and a great example is: Mount and blade bannerlord.

Of course and I'm not disputing that but if the intention was to delay as long as possible (assuming that's what they're doing) so people keep checking in to make money from ads, why not just put a price tag on the game? And I know some people wont like that because they dont want to pay for it but if its wait vs pay, I'd pay all day long.

And while you may think it's dumb I don't (see what I did there, aren't opinions fun?).

And where did I compare LCPDFR.com and steam? I didn't. I clearly said that in every game cycle of media hype there will always be an exact release date to manage peoples expectations. I mentioned steam because that is what most people will look to to try and prove me wrong so I eliminated that as an option. You may have nothing against a precise release date but I do because it's clearly an attempt to get people to come back here every hour for ad revenue generation from the site advertisements.

The difference and you can look this up in every release: step 1: game isn't finish yet Step 2: release an approx release date step 3: game is almost ready Step 4: Release accurate release date Pointless trying to prove my point wrong by looking on steam as their developer guidelines states they can follow the approximation but must announce a day for the game to unlock on within 30 days of planned release. Granted as most games are paid for, they do this so they are managing peoples expectations of things like: - Will I afford it at this date? - Do I have time on this date? - Can I move things around to play/pay for it? Free games do this as well but remove the paid aspects.

I agree with the above ^ was the ploy to keep people coming back here every hour for ad revenue generation? It was fun at the start of Feb with everyone hyping but now it's just plain annoying and while I appreciate that you don't sell this and you've done it out of your own free time you cannot deny you have a fanbase that doesn't act any different just because it's free.
