Hello community. This is my 2nd attempt at making skins for my hometown PD. My dad and uncle were officers on the SCPD. My dad was an original SCPD officer in 1957 and my uncle in the 60's thru the 80's. I know these are the old decal style but I like them over the new POLICE decal. They need work I know and I'm looking for constructive criticism.

Hello community. I'm not sure if this question is a GTA or LSPDFR matter but I just wanted to know if I can use map editor while using LSPDFR. My game ctd when I try to load LSPDFR with scripthookvdotnet installed. . When i take out scripthookvdotnet LSPDFR launches fine. I would really like to use map editor in LSPDFR if its possible. Any help from you guys would be awesome. Thank you.

Does your gtav version say 1.0.1737.6?

Hello community. I just re-downloaded gtav and its says it ver 1.0.1733.6. The latest scripthook is only 1733.0. My game won't launch now. Can I go back to ver.1733.0 of the game somehow? Is there a scripthook update planned?

Hello community. I am still trying to figure this out. Where exactly inside the carcols.meta or carcols.ymt do custom carcols go that authors include in their car models? Do they go after the Sirens section or Lights section or can I just put them at the beginning of the file? I have tried putting them everywhere and the lights still do not work. Sirens work but no lights. Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated. And I have looked up what i'm asking on youtube and google and there is NOTHING about this. Thanks guys.

Thank you. Can u tell me where exactly where in the carcols.meta custom carcols go? Like after Sirens or Lights? I've added them everywhere but the lights are still not working on any of the addon cars i've installed.

Hello community. I just want to know if this is where I would put questions about carcols. Is it here or the GTAV part of the forum. Its a question about where custom carcols go. I have not a clue to where they go. LOL. Best I get is sirens work but not the lights on my add on cars that come with custom carcols. Thank you ahead of time.

Vehicles that i'm downloading have custom carcols.meta's. They're non-els. Where exactly do I put those inside the carcols.meta file. I've tried and tried to get a bunch of cars that come with custom carcols to work but I can't get them to work. I get a siren but no lights at all. I've been on LSPDFR for 6 friggin months and thats about the last thing left I can't figure out LOL!!! Please, any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank u ahead of time.

First off let me thank you very, very much for the comments on how decent they look! Its very encouraging to any new guy just starting off. I'm using paint.net. I have gimp also but I like paint a lot better. And thank you for the input about the sides. That seems to be a problem I have with the sloped cars lol. I am definitley gonna be working on that. Like I said I want to contribute to this great community. Thank you again Wilhelm for the reply and the input.

Hello community. I am brand new to trying to make textures for the great car models that are being made. I am from Suffolk County originally and my dad was an original Suffolk County officer in 1960 when the department was formed. I retired military, Air Force SP and Army MP, and former LEO so this community is like a home for me LOL!! Please give criticism, opinions, tell me to give it up if its that bad LOL!! I would just like to try to contribute to a great mod and great community. Credits to all the modelers. BXBUGS123, Capt 14, and all the guys whose names I can't remember. If I'm doing something wrong by posting these pics PLEASE tell me and I will correct any wrongs I'm committing. Thanks everyone. PS- Don't mind the camaro....I'm a camaro guy LOL. Got 2 of em. Oh yea, I'm still trying to choose a style for the skin so thats why you see different styles on the cars.

Hello community. I have been working on some skins for vehicles and I'm not sure how to post them. Who do I give credits to? Is it the person who did the vehicle model? I don't want to get any of the guys who do the great models pissed at me lol! This is my first time trying to do skins so they're not great but i'm posting them for advice, criticism or anything else so I can get better at it. I want to contribute to this great game and do what I can to keep it going strong. Thank you. The skins I'm working on are Suffolk County PD.
