That is weird. So you're saying if you open a notepad, and press a button, the correct keystroke will work? For example, hitting stage 3 lights will print "j" three times? If so, maybe try running GTA V in windowed? Other than that I'm at a loss. Maybe the log might tell you more on the server manager.

LSPDFR Computer+
Most of the problems being posted here are the result of people not researching before crying for help. Plugins conflicting with Computer++, trying to run it in too low of a resolution, not having enough system memory. That being said, I really think you should consider adding officer status. On scene, Out of Service, 10-8, Traffic Stop, etc. That'd be really immerse.

San Andreas State Police Pack
I really don't think forcing people to be on your Discord server for a full 24 hours before they can download these mods is your best plan of attack here. Not only will people not go through the hassle to download them, they'll also leave the server right after they download the files. That being said, I don't know the site rules but hosting the mods from a 3rd party location where they can't be checked for scripts or virus' seems a little sketchy and at most, should probably be against the rules.

After you installed the remote have you restarted the server by right clicking the icon, click manage, wait for your browser to open, scroll down and restart server. Wouldn’t hurt to hit relod remotes as well. Sometimes stopping and starting the server just from the tray won’t work when modifying adding or removing remotes. Let me know if this works.

Are Pursuits supposed to be like this?
I'm guessing that stands for ELS Traffic Control. Will that effect the way the cars move out of your way/stop when stage 3 or sirens on? My only complaint with ELS is sounding the horn does just what OP described, pursuit or not. Therefore, having it set to "scan" causes heaps of problems when it scans over to the horn tone.

Awesome! I certainly plan on adding blinkers. Any idea if any popular mod has this feature or is there’s any populat script for them?

If it’s not finding a server make sure the server is running on your PC. If it is, try to reinstall it, maybe turn off Windows firewall or allow it through. Also, make sure both devices are on the same network. Don’t matter if one’s on Wifi and the other Ethernet, as long as it’s going through the same router. I believe you can also connect via bluetooth

Sorry for the lack of update, like I promised. I've been busy. Hopefully I can cram out some coding tomorrow. In the meantime, I've released an iOS version to fix the button color issue. Enjoy! 🙂

Also dude, I should mention. We should all count our lucky stars all the plugins are freeware. I guess you've never tried to find decent mods for FSX before? Just a good couple of mods for FSX alone could rack you up in the triples. Some people from this community sounds real entitled/spoiled when they start going on about having to spend a toonie to make a useful 'plugin' work. A remote that took me quite some time to make, considering every bit of code needs to be typed by hand, and an app that probably took the developers years to make it where it's to now.

Couldn’t have said it better. People are acting like a couple dollars for an app that can serve many functions outside LSPDFR will break their bank. I use Unified Remote for just about everything. Netflix, Kodi, you name it. No worries about me getting discouraged, I’m well used to trolls, plus I’m not only doing this for you guys, I’m doing it for myself too!

I’m glad! No, it appears I just forgot to add it back 😛 when I release the hotfix I’ll add it back in. I’m using ethernet on my PC and wifi on my Android. I think you can also connect via bluetooth if your computer has a bluetooth adapter. Double check these for me and we’ll take it from there: - You have the inapp purchase bought allowing custom remotes - When you hit plus (add new) and search for LSPDFR nothing shows up - In the server tab you are connected to your PC (try to delete the connection and reconnect) - on your PC, the server is started (right click in system tray, even try to reboot it) - The remote is installed correctly inside the custom folder within %programdata%

I Believe it’s different on the iPhone. When you hit the plus, search for “LSPDFR” and it should pop up. Click it and make sure it has a checkmark next to it, the return back to the remote tab and it should be there. I believe I’m having a problem with the button colors on Apple products. If you could confirm that for me that’d be great

ELS Control App - Control your ELS POLICE Vehicle with your phone!
I think I speak for both me and GoForDutch when I say, no one's forcing you to pay. If you want to use it bad enough, you'll suck it up and pay a whopping $1.99 to the app developers. If you can't afford $1.99 to use a mod you're interested in, then I'm a bit confused how you came up with the $80 to buy GTAV in the first place. Unless of course, you pirated the game.

Gotcha, hopefully in the next few days I’ll have another version released with some more features. I viewed his for a bit, his lacks some little features that mine already has, one major one being orginized with tabs so ELS isn’t compacted with other plugins and turning off the speed radar.

More use. In his if I can recall correctly it’s mostly for els and plate checks. I plan on adding tons of support for multiple popular plugins. So everythings at your finger tips instead of mashing keyboard combos.

Yes, everything can be customized within the .xml file. Just open up in a text editior, I recommend Notepad++, and all the buttons are customizable. The documentation for Unified Remote is a great help if you’re not used to php style code. Make sure on your iPad you’re connect to the server. Also, if I’m correct there’s a 1.99 in app purchase you have to make in order to use custom remotes before it allows you to add. Sorry, should’ve made that clear.

- Version 1.2.0
EDIT: I made a whoopsie, within the .rar files contained an APK file that I didn't fully inspect like I should've. Although I will not plea guilty, I want to be very clear here folks, I support developers, I do not support piracy. All files have been updated to remove the APK provided. Please obtain Unified Remote from your Playstore/App Store, even though there may be other ways of doing so. For the sake of ~$1.99, you've got access to using custom remotes. Do you use a controller/wheel? Ever get sick of having to drop your controller or look under your wheel to hit a combination of buttons on your keyboard? Forget all that. With this "remote", you can stand your tablet or phone next to you, and at the click of a button you can operate many key aspects of LSPDFR and it's respected plugins. Change Logs: Upcoming Features: Ambulance and Corner request Turn Signals Let me know what else you'd like to see done or added. Zip File Includes: Unified Remote Custom Remote (iOS and Android) Read Me Lua Actions Read Me In order for this to work, you must have Unified Remote server installed on your computer and running. For more information, view the readme. This also works on IOS, download "Unified Remote" from the appstore! Warning! Unfortunately you'll be required to make an in-app purchase in order to use custom remotes such as this. If I can recall, it's no more than $2. It's not a monthly subscription, it's a one time buy and the app it's self is useful in many other ways other than LSPDFR. Known Bugs: Buttons are not working like they're supposed to. Fix: Most likely, your computer is lagging, could be from high CPU/Memory usage. If this happens, open up remote.lua and replace all the values "os.sleep(60)" with "os.sleep(80)". If problem still consists, raise the value even higher. 90, 100, 110, etc. Save the file, reboot the server! Sometimes the buttons do nothing when pressed. I do believe I know the issue at hand, I'll try to find a way to make the buttons more responsive. No Button Color on both Android and Apple. Because of the way it's coded (mostly because unified remote is very limited with what code works and don't, you MUST have "Light" theme enabled in preferences, not dark. Otherwise, the buttons will not work. If you're stubborn like me and choose to use dark theme anyways, open up the XML file, and find & replace "light=" with "dark=" If you experience a bug, Please let me know here, or more preferably, on Twitter (@UsrBanned). WARNING: If you do not have stock keymappings for the plugins this remote uses, you WILL have to change the mappings within the remotes lua file (remote.lua). For more information, read the readme. (It's not hard at all to change the key mapping) List of recommended plugins for this mod: Police Smart Radio ELS Arrest Manager LSPDFR+ Traffic Policer Better EMS (soon) Spotlight (click here) (Note, the remote may not currently use some of these plugins listed above, but I plan on incorporating these regardless at a later date. This remote WILL still work without these plugins but some buttons may be deemed useless.) Please consider contacting me with any problems or concerns before you rush-rate low stars. I'm happy to help.- 70 comments
