Thats what I thought too. At the end of the day, this is just a mod for a video game with little to no repercussions. It doesn't exactly create the best scenario for a Research Project on how/why Law Enforcement deal with the situations the way they do.

Post your log in the support forums. Try going into the Plugins folder and renaming LSPDFR to _LSPDFR. If you dont get many crashes, the issue isnt LSPDFR but one of the plugins. The only issue with this, and adding on to what Rich said, would be that the Control Group would have to be relatively large. If the data being collected for the Research Project was too small, it would be very difficult to draw any kind of Final Result from the Hypothesis of this project. I think a Control Group of at least 50 and at most 150 would be ideal to reflect variety in the way people respond to the scenario.

That was one of the concerns I brought up as well, but I think that people who do dick around can also provide excellent data since there are cops who do mimic that kind of behavior. Yeah, as Max said, there shouldn't really be any disruption with the update. You should still be able to play previous versions of callouts and plugins till I believe 0.4.7 now.

The best source is the readme that comes with the mods, they tell you exactly where to install stuff. I also suggest looking at the download page for each mod to see if things have requirements to use them.

No problem! Now, try renaming the mods folder to _mods and see what happens. I know you tried it in the past but I just want to double check. If it doesnt crash, that means that something in your mods folder is causing the issue and you will have to remove what you added one-by-one and test after each removal to find the problem mod. If it crashes even with the mods folder renamed, remove ScriptHookV.dll and then test again. If it doesnt crash, add ScriptHookV.dll back and launch again to force the crash. Then send your ScriptHookV.log Now, in regards to that kernelbase, I know it has something to with LSPDFR. I suggest a clean install of LSPDFR and then RPH and see if that helps. But let's focus on the game crashing issue for now. Also, something to keep in mind, the file called RagePluginHook.log will always be your most recent log, so you only need to send that. Thanks! 🙂

Albo's plugins don't work anymore but that addon method still does. Other than that, you can use the replace method but you will be limited in the number of police cars you can have.

There is no way the vehicle pack would be the issue if mods was renamed to _mods. If it was still crashing after that, then its something in the Main Directory. To me, this sounds like you installed the vehicle pack and renamed _mods back to mods. In your case, you could probably benefit from installing the Gameconfig by F7YO. I recommend using the 1,5x Traffic and 1,5x Peds. The readme will have the installation guide. You will also need the Heap Limit Adjuster. That can just be installed to your Main Directory. I don't know of any free ones. I know one of the more popular ones is Flashing Lights but that costs money. Compared to LSPDFR, there isn't really anything else out there that offers the variety that LSPDFR and its associated community-made plugins offer.

Tbf, mine was more of a passing comment and a joke in response to what Red said. I stand by what I said before in regards to your OP. If you do feel like the topic is getting out of hand, you can always report the response you didnt like or your original post and leave a description for the Moderator as to why it was reported and they can handle it from there. I will say that besides some people, this thread has been fairly well-mannered and mostly everyone has been polite with their responses as opposed to some of the other threads I have seen on here.
