Change NOOSE walking animation?
Just looked it up, it's not the Noose line. It's the M_Y_SWAT line. This is what mine is set to. M_Y_Swat, M_Y_Swat_p, COP, move_cop, GESTURES@MALE, GESTURES@M_PHONE, FACIALS@M_LO, visemes@m_lo, 0, move_cop, null, -1,-1, PED_TYPE_PLAYER, VOICE_PLY_CR, VOICE_PLY_CR

LCPDFR will not initiate. Game only goes slightly blurry after pressing Alt-P.
Did you try both left and right alt? The blurriness is due to P being the default button in the game to turn on and off the sharpness filter (can't remember it's name in the options). Regards.

Change NOOSE walking animation?
Inside the peds.ide file in commondata find the Noose line and find the move_@swat or whatever it says, change that to move_cop on both of those and save it, try your game and see if it fixes it, if not try again, that's how you do it without having to change it manually ingame each time. Regards.

Roleplaying tool (serious enthusiasts only!) [mdc.lcpdfr.com]
Hey mate, I've just attempted to register and got told my account ID is already registered. Just wondering if you can tell me the start of the email address used to register so I know if I registered or if someone else took the name I use. Account that I tried to register was AussieMerc. Thanks, AussieMerc.

Can ELS enabled cars be operated without ELS?
For the lights to be able to turn on and off you need to install ELS with an ELS car. If you don't have ELS you can only turn the siren on and off like normal, however absolutely none of the lightbars will light up. So yes, if you're against ELS (for whatever reason) go and track down some of the non-ELS cars on this site and others. Regards, AussieMerc.

icenhancer 2.1 final
Slasher download and run the media tool from the download section, run it and see if it tells you anything when running it. Sounds to me like an issue with your GTA IV files if LCPDFR isn't working. Good luck, AussieMerc.

Patch to make LCPD work?
If you truly have GTAIV through Steam you wouldn't need a link to the patch as Steam is already 1.0.7.0.

Error downloading lcpdfr
Have you attempted to download it using a different browser? I'm just giving you suggestions because I just tested it here and it worked no problems. I'm running the latest version of Google Chrome.

Error downloading lcpdfr
Well as I asked, are you getting that error when downloading the file or when trying to run the file?
-
Error downloading lcpdfr
Download the file, then right click the file and select run as administrator. EDIT: Are you getting that error when you try to actually download the file from the site? Or when trying to run the file?

Error with login details etc in Police Computer
Hello everyone, Been some time since I've posted anything on here but regardless, I've just reinstalled GTAIV 1.0.7.0 and LCPDFR 0.95 RC2. It all installed correctly however the problem I am getting is when attempting to use the in-game login system on the Police Computer the login is showing up as: {"error":true,"results":[{"message":"Reindexing - try again later (#CS-11)"}],"errorCode":11,"errorText":"Reindexing - try again later (#CS-11)","message":"Reindexing - try again later (#CS-11)"} The first thing I will mention is that I am not running any third party mods etc. Completely vanilla copy of the game. The second thing is that when I check inside my ini file for LCPDFR I can see: [NETWORK] APIKey = {"error":true,"results":[{"message":"Reindexing - try again later (#CS-11)"}],"errorCode":11,"errorText":"Reindexing - try again later (#CS-11)","message":"Reindexing - try again later (#CS-11)"} I'm guessing it's possibly due to the stats being offline but I am curious if anyone else is having the problem or if it's just me. I've run the media tool and it's told me I have 0 errors. I've reinstalled LCPD:FR again to see if it was a handshake issue with the installer and the site or something but it's telling me that the mod is linked to my account here like it used to. However the issue still remains. The mod seems to be running fine regardless of the error in the login system but it's taking away my immersion into the mod so I am asking about it. Regards, AussieMerc.

Requesting ELS blue light texture
Many cars on gtapolicemods have full blue bars included within the file you download. Have you tried taking the lightbar texture from one of those? Post up the test files you've created, screenshot of the product in play as well as the actual texture of the lightbar you've made. Regards.

Car Mod Pack
You're much better off starting out with just modding a few cars, the more cars you replace, the less time it will take for the rest of the geometry to not render. This unfortunately is the name of the game when it comes to modifying GTA IV. Downloading so-called car packs is a rapid way for you to overload the engine and cause the invisible geometry issue, mod one car at a time, play for a while, see if you lose the textures, if you are stable, replace the next car of your choosing. And so on and so forth. Comes down to trial and error, see how you go, when you lose textures, put back in the original car and see how the game runs. Obviously always back up after each change, I personally make incremental backups of my vehicles.img file each time I replace a new vehicle. Good luck, hope you find some success in replacing cars.

LAPD Pursuit
Started out after a traffic stop that the driver had no warrant for his arrest like most of my pursuits? Quite hilarious sometimes, pull someone over for running a red light, only to have them speed off on attempting to stop them, lengthy pursuit follows usually resulting in them being either tased, shot or me being run over. Oh LCPDFR how I love you..

LCDPFR Community Team and Staffing Updates
Congrats to the new members, the new details and public relations concepts both sound like excellent ideas. On another note, NB is the way I found out about the mods as well as no doubt quite a few others so it's great to hear he is on board officially now as well. Keep up the good work everyone. Aussie out.
