  21. I've lost several times by now.
  22. I, uh...I meant to. I remember watching the pilot when it aired, coming to the conclusion that, hey, this show could be something, and then I completely forgot the show existed until now that it's almost over. And now that the Mythbusters did that crossover, which for the record, was awesome.
  23. I'd go Steinway or EIC in Dukes because Irish, or Lower Easton for proximity to good Chinese and Italian restaurants, or somewhere north of Middle Park. Broker's not a bad place to live, but my Baltic language skills are non-existent and my Russian isn't much better, and Bohan is a little too run down for my tastes. Alderney...Look, I was born in New Jersey, my parents were born and raised there, but we left when I was one year old. So it's more a place to visit than to live. Also, too many mob bosses. Somewhat related, I really wish Rockstar had kept the ability to buy property from San Andreas.
  24. My shift in Bohan started with a drunk just outside of Outlook Park. Then I had a good five or six vehicle stops, and not a single one went smoothly. You know how the tagline for Minority Report was "Everybody runs"? Yeah. But the thing was, on two of the stops they took off while I was on the way back with their license. We've only had 600,000 pursuits combined, but the guy driving the Blista Compact, yeah, he's the one who's going to beat the odds. Oh, what a day. What a motherf**king day.
  25. Basically, a thread where we can come to talk about the various things we've seen while playing. For instance, I pulled over an SUV for speeding, ran his license, everything checked out fine - pulled over twice, cited once, no warrants, valid license. I head back to his door, ready to give him a warning, when he gets out, pulls a micro-SMG and starts firing. It's the strangest traffic stop I've had so far.
  26. I got stopped one night, and I'm still not sure why. It was probably September or early October here in Florida (this was a good seven or eight years ago), and a rainstorm had just passed through so it was nice and cool. We needed bread, so I decided to walk since the store was only a half-mile away. I got to the intersection where I had to cross to get to the store, when these two officers get out of their parked car and stop me. They asked what I was doing, I told them I was walking to the store. They asked whether it was kind of wet to go for a walk, and I said precisely jack, because I was just some high school kid. Then they asked for an ID, which I didn't have given the fact that I don't typically bring my wallet to buy two dollars worth of bread. They also mentioned that I resembled someone they'd been looking for, but let me go (my theory being that I wasn't acting tough, but rather scared and confused), I bought some bread, and went home.
  27. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to 2nd St. Bar & Grill, a place for Liberty City's Finest to relax after a hard shift and to share the stories of the day with their brother and sister officers.
