  1. I am also getting this issue. I have bound the Menu key for SimpleHUD to F9. When I change camera modes (V on Keyboard | Back on Controller) the SimpleHUD Menu opens. It behaves normally when pressing F9. I have tried changing F9 to F1 and same thing. Not sure how to fix this. Edit To Add: Workaround is to change MenuEnabled = true --> MenuEnabled = false After that, I can change camera modes without the menu getting annoying.
  2. Unfortunately, even after changing my CDF settings, I still have yet to pull over a car and the owner be in the car. I set the vehicle owner be the driver to 100% and the rest to 0, and no change. The driver or occupants never match the owner in the DMV for me. I tested this using the built in ALPR system and waited for various flags, as well as with catching speeders.
  3. Same. I’m going to up my common data framework settings to have the driver at 100% then do some testing.
  4. Sorry, yeah I should've mentioned that. I went into my own default.meta file (at the same location listed in the assembly.xml) and removed the keys I wanted to remove. I did note that the recording keys were still listed as the default, not what I had changed them to while in game a while back. I'm sure it's another file somewhere, but had no luck finding it. Edit: I just looked again and there is a default.ymt file @ update\update.rpf\x64\data - but it wont let me view that file. Edit 2: I went ahead and restored all keys to default while in game, and then after that everything worked as expected.
  5. First, thank you for this. I made my own personal OIV installer for some controller buttons a while back and never knew where to go to also remove some KB keys. You pointed me right where I need to look 👍 I did run into an issue though, I'm hoping you might be able to help. I tried to remove 4 KB Keys: Weapon Next In Vehicle - And the 3 Recording "F" keys. The weapon one worked perfectly, however my recording keys still work. I though it might be a mistake on my part, so I restored the original meta file, then installed your OIV installer. Even after that, my recording keys still work. Here is where the hang up is I believe. I changed my recording keys a while back to be F10, F11 and F12. I'm just not sure where to fix that. Any ideas?
  6. Can you make some for the Minnesota State Rep that was assassinated? And her doggo? Or what do you think about making some with MLK Jr.? Or Malcom X? - these guys were also very well known for their quotes.
  7. Any chance we can get a new set of your databases for Policing Redefined and ReportsPlus? I thought I might be able to easily convert your current ones for STP into PR, but they went more in depth with PR, and I trust your work more than my own lol
  8. Dang that was fast lol, I was coming back to edit my comment to see about modifiers for the keys/buttons as well? (mainly because my old buttons were DPadLeft+RightThumb) Either way I really appreciate the willingness to remedy such a small issue! Thanks again for such an awesome CAD
  9. I'm not sure how difficult it would be, but is there any chance we could get button support for giving a ticket? It would make a huge difference for me, say if I just got done typing up a report, then lean back and pick my controller up to go give the ticket, only to realize I have to lean back up to the keyboard to give the ticket. I know, small issue, I just figured I would ask.
  10. Do you have any plans on making this compatible with Policing Redefined once it's released?
  11. Will this work with JDK 25? I can only download 21 or 25. Also, I know this will work with PR once released, but does this work with STP currently? Thanks for such an awesome approach to the computer system! Edit: I found an answer to one of my questions, so I removed the question.
  12. One small QOL suggestion would be add the option to not have a division for any of the responding units. Not sure if this would be possible or not, but it would make the format match my callsign, SAM-81.
Great idea that when you think about it, should have always been how backup works. Great implementation as well.
  13. Would the public beta be released here or somewhere else? Who is making it?
  14. I apologize in advance for any typos, or bad grammer, I'm using my phone and it's 4am. First, Ultimate Backup gives you 3 XML files that allow for further customization of your backup units. DefaultRegions, CustomRegions and SpecialUnits. You basically will have to set up some vehicles to respond as Group Backup. I set my group backup to be: First Responder (Medic), First Responder (Fire), Firetruck, Ambulance, Supervisor The Firetruck and Ambulance models are specified within the DefaultRegions XML. The First Repsonder (Medic), First Responder (Fire) and Supervisor models are specified within the SpecialUnits XML. Side note, you can change the names of the special units. I changed mine to Fire Chief and EMS Sprint Unit. Once you have you're vehicles specified within the XMLs, you just need to setup the Group Backup in the UltimateBackup.ini file. Just remeber that if you changed any names of the special units, use your new name for them. If you want more officers to show up too, add "LocalPatrol" or "StatePatrol" as one of the units. Since I changed the names, my group backup in the .ini really says something like this: Fire Chief, EMS Sprint Unit, Firetruck, Ambulance, Supervisor I also use Grammar Police to call my group backup. I just say "send me everyone"
  15. I had an issue similar to this recently. I never changed anything in the backup file (the one at GTAV/lspdfr/data). But I did change stuff in both the default agency file and the custom agency file that I am using. Anytime I called for a helicopter, I would get a similar message as you did. This would only happen when using Grammar police, as calling a heli through the Ultimate Backup menu worked fine. After investigating, I had removed all of the "Local Air" and "NOOSEAir" sections from these files, and it turns out that they're used for more than just vehicle selection in the Locker Room. Might be worth checking your agency files if you changed those at all.
  16. It could be you need to set which vehicles spawn for "High Crime Area" within the CustomRegions XML. Ultimate Backup sets DAVIS and STRAW as their own CustomRegion. I use POLICE, POLICE2, and POLICE3 as my LSPD units. Here is what I set for my High Crime Areas: Make sure that whatever vehicle(s) you want to show up in DAVIS is the one(s) listed.
  17. I am getting the exact same thing. Clean install, and a fresh mod folder, yet when EUP is installed, there is a 100% reproducible CTD that says "Please reboot and restart the game." Everything is fine and dandy until I install EUP. Edit: After some research, the issue others and I are having can be fixed with downloading the Packfile Limit Adjuster. EUP is installed and working as long as that is also installed.
  18. Each one is for a specific version of ScriptHookVDotNet. If you have the main/official branch of SHVDN, then you go with the Stable option. However, some people have issues such as crashes with the main/official version of SHVDN. To solve that, there is a separate branch of SHVDN called Nightly. The Nightly version of SHVDN is said to not cause the issues mentioned previously. If you install a Nightly version of SHVDN, then use the Nightly option for SimpleHUD. I use the Nightly build #45 with no issues. Anything more recent from #45 caused my game to crash with a SHVDN error.
  19. Before this update, I was able to customize the zone position. I think it was tied into the time position settings. With this new update, I can no longer customize where on the screen the zone is displayed. Looked in the in game menu, and figured since its not there, it must be something done manually in the .ini, but there are no settings for the zone besides enable. Is there a way to customize where the zone is displayed on the new version so I don't have to worry about the HUD disappearing, but also get to keep the zone in the place I want it? Disregard the above as the zone is now tied in with the county settings. It's late and I was being dumb, my bad guys
  20. take a look into that car's ELS file. make sure this is set to true: <Extra11 IsElsControlled="true" /> it also might be worth making sure this is also set true: <Takedowns AllowUse="true" Mirrored="true" /> <SceneLights AllowUse="true" IlluminateSidesOnly="true" /> not sure if that second part will help, but they are my settings, and my takedown lights don't turn on automatically anymore. if this doesn't help you like it did me, i apologize
  21. You're all good, I can't thank you enough! Sorry for the late response, I didn't expect it to be done so quick! I'll have to change the texture later tonight and admire the work. Thanks again man 👍
  22. I figured it would be tricky but still, I appreciate you attempting that! And yeah, if you can do it all blue, that shall suffice 👍 thanks again
  23. Thank you!! I don't know if its possible but, are you able to keep the red on the push bar? I'm going for a OSHP kind of style with all blue except the front push bar which is red/blue. I totally get it of not
