Yeah I got it to finally do it. But I thought it would only restore and two files I deleted but it actually restored the defaults of some files too. So all my stuff I had modded other than scripts and such have been restored to defaults... oh well. Just a warning to other Steam users out there.

I have the Steam version of GTA IV as well and I tried doing this with my componentped.img and pedprops.img. Deleted them and then right-clicked my GTA IV and verified the game cache and then when I got into my game there was no traffic or pedestrians on the street and when I went on duty on LCPDFR I couldn't choose any police officers. What happened here, anyone know?

Anyone know where to get more police uniform downloads? Or should I just wait for GPM to come back up since it will pretty soon, if they have them on there?

Yeah hmm... I only want to restore a certain file so I really don't wanna do that and reinstall all the mods again. Oh well :/ thanks though.

Does this program work with Steam? Because it says I need to select the DVD-ROM Drive and since I don't have a disc for the game I don't know what to do here. Any help would be appreciated!

I don't know if this is something really obvious to other people playing .91 but if you switch to Independence radio while on duty you get a police scanner.

I fixed it, it just needed a good ol' reboot and some tweaking with the settings a bit. It was pretty strange but its out of the way now. There is another thing though, the game is in windowed mode now, its still full resolution fitting my monitor but it just isn't fullscreen. Anyone know what thats about? You probably changed something in the settings to make it windowed.

It seems to be working pretty well, but there is one problem. The sound seems to be lagging and sounds all crackly, but the game isn't lagging. I don't know what it is but some help with this would be great, thanks!

I agree, I think it adds realism to the mod. I'm really excited for .95! They've done such a great job so far at G17.

Yep, this works. I just had to remap my horn key to 'G' and now the AI reacts to the sirens. Thanks man for the help! Btw... sorry about the double post earlier, my internet was fucking up.

Oh, really? That sucks /: I guess I'll have to put the default one back if I want the AI to move their asses out of my way. Thanks for the reply, but if anyone else knows of a way to have custom sirens and still have the AI react to it that would be great help!

Well first off I just want to say hi to everyone, I just signed up! But about my problem, whenever I activate my sirens in game the traffic will not pull over to the side when I'm near them. I recently DLed "NB's Mod Pack" from one of his preview videos. The pack contained siren sounds and I installed them using Spark IV, and it works fine in-game. Although the traffic does not seem to react to the sirens now. I was wondering if this is because of the new sounds or what? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.
