This video showcases how easy it is to create variations for ranks using the program. I imported the outfits from EUPMenu, combined the female and male versions of the LSPD Class A by ctrl+clicking each of them in the list and clicking the combine button, renamed some things and made a variation for Officer III that inherits from the base variation. From there (here's where the video starts), it's just a matter of duplicating and changing the decal texture and other options for each rank.

I feel pretty done with outfit management after a day's work. The other parts should be easier now that I've got a base to build off of (never did GUI in python before). So, what do you think? Enough utility to continue the effort?

Since I am no longer personally working on this project, I have it made it open source. It is currently without any documentation (sorry), but if there's interest in continuing the work, I'll write some. Until then, I can answer questions.

This is the big one, the agencies menu.

Parent and inventory on the edit agency menu are automatically populated from the other configured agencies and inventories. The same goes for the model, outfit, and inventory options on the edit loadout menu. The model and outfit options will also automatically pop up a filtered list based on what you type as you type it for quick input. Or they can be used like normal dropdowns to see the full list.

Next I'm doing stations, which should be fairly simple. Regions will be slightly more complicated, then I'll probably take a bit to get backups done. But then it'd just be the export code and we'll be ready for an initial release.

My goal here is to create a UI that will let you easily create configs for LSPDFR, including importing outfits from EUPMenu and importing/exporting UltimateBackup settings. It will make use of the whole picture to make configuration easier (for example, selecting from a dropdown of the configured outfits while adding peds to agencies), and will prevent errors such as accidentally adding one zone to multiple regions.

The question is, are people messing with their configs/exporting to UltimateBackup enough to make this worthwhile?

Yeah. And you'll need to install both, or at least delete the non-LEO agencies I added to the agencies config.

As for your troubles with customization, the problem lies in the fact that the outfit back end GTA V uses has several layers for the upper body. There is the shirt (component 11); the under shirt, for things like t-shirts showing underneath an unbutton shirt (component 8); the under skin, for arms showing on short sleeves (component 3); and the outerwear (component 9).

Open the console and post the error, please (start at the lines above where you see a series of "at" lines)
EDIT: Never mind, it's a crash to desktop? It's possible that you didn't install EUP correctly.

Disclaimer: I can't guarantee these will work universally across the board, but these are the plugins and callouts that I have working in my game personally. Remember to always make a backup. I am not liable for your broken game.

Keep in mind to remain grateful as this is a modification we are playing free of charge. We are literally just over 12 hours into 0.4's release, so time is needed for authors to make the proper adjustments to their mods for implementation from 0.3.

Also, please do not include any visual or audio modifications as these should be irrelevant to the version of LSPDFR being played.

I recommend this police bike. It's a different livery, but that's okay since it's a different agency. It's still the vanilla model.
As for the police transport, I did convert this Speedo to ELS using the same lightbars in this pack and made a version and livery for policet, but I don't have permission from either author to post it. It also suffers from the backwards takedown problem I can't figure out.

Speaking of which, I did get police5 and police6 working and fixed a problem with police5's tail lights so broken takedowns on pranger, police6, policet, and sheriff4 are the only issues I've yet to fix with this pack.

I'm working on fixing and updating this awesome pack. Hopefully, with the authors' permission, I'll share my changes when I've finished. Here's what I've done so far:
Fixed pranger's takedown always being illuminated (there were two objects named extra_11, renamed the other one to misc_c) Fixed pranger's grille sirens always being illuminated (wrong object names, I just combined them with extra_5 and extra_6) Fixed floating coronas for pranger's extra_5 and extra_6 (incorrectly placed dummy) Fixed improperly aligned takedowns for all sheriff models (incorrectly placed dummies) Fixed sherrif4 crashing (wrong handling id, switched it to sandking) Fixed sherrif4's middle taillight always being illuminated (wrong object name) Fixed floating coronas on sheriff4 (misplaced dummies) Fixed police3's bottom rear taillights always being illuminated (detached them from the bumper and combined them with the main taillights) Stitched together a texture for the Chevy Express policet model to match the LSPD textures in this pack But here's what I'm stuck on:
police5 and police6 crash the game (I can't find any errors in the meta files) pranger and sheriff4's takedowns illuminate the rear, not the front (I've tried rotating and flipping the dummy in several ways, but the light is unchanged) This pack looks awesome with custom visuals. It's a shame it's been so long without some tender care.
