    A Westlake County Traffic Patrolman stopped a vehicle in the early hours of the morning for speeding.

    The driver tried to explain the sun was reflecting off of his rear view mirror, and he wasn't able to see his speedometer.

    Ultimately, the driver was issued a citation for speeding, and given the address of a local shop that sells sunglasses.

    "The LCPD want you to be safe when driving in bad weather. Remember to leave extra room when driving, and brake earlier than you normally do. This will prevent traffic accidents like this one here. Happy holidays and drive safe!"
